D&G 1992/1993 Nadja Auermann, Meghan Douglas & Angelika Kallio by Steven Meisel
Nov 26 - Dec 3
Been a while since I’ve posted an “event” from Ux, huh?
This campaign temporarily increases the rates of the more “important” awakenings.
※ Yes, that is no typo. During the campaign, these two awakenings will be available. If you get a 70%, it will stay that way after the campaign. However, if any 20% is already in place, the 70% will not replace it.

Camille Saint-Saëns To those out there who have musical experience, I have a bit of a challenge for you all. I want to create themes for all of my characters from Mythical Galaxy. Each of them will have a specific style of music and instrument associated with them.
Cepheus - Since he’s originally from 1700′s, France, I see Cepheus’ associated instrument to be a harpsichord. His theme would be in the style of classical orchestral music from the 18th and 19th century. See J.S. Bach’s harpsichord concertos, or the song; “I Know Him” from Hamilton
Drake - Drake’s was originally from 1930′s, New York, so I see his associated instrument as a trombone. His theme would be in the style of 1930′s blues or slow jazz music. See Glenn Miller, ProleteR, or “Peggy Suave - Line” by Sim Gretina.
Auriga - Auriga’s a robot, so his associated instrument would be a mellotron. His theme would be in the style of synthwave/techno music, only more laidback and mellow. He’d also have a bit of trap and dubstep mixed in, but it’d be more subtle. See “Star Scat” by Caravan Palace, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” by Daft Punk, “Aquamarine & Topaz” from the Steven Universe Soundtrack, or “Sandstorm” by Darude, “Space Oddity” by David Bowie
Claudius - Claudius is from the Roman Empire, so his associated instrument would be a lyre. With Claudius’ theme, I want it to be a combination of ancient folk music and modern day techno music. The theme would start of very organic and primitive sounding, though over time would gain more sophisticated and electronic sounding instrumental. It’s also sort of meant to symbolize how Claudius starts off in the past, but gradually gets used to the future. See “Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal”, “Luci’s Game” by Varrick Frost, “Down to Earth” by Peter Gabriel
Andromeda - Andromeda is drawn in the rubber hose style and was originally from the 30′s, so her associated instrument would be an early 20th-century piano. Her theme would be in the style of electro swing, ragtime. See “The Big Swing” by Fab Samperi, “Peggy Suave - Posin’” by Sim Gretina, “Mr. Magpie”, “Gimme Gimme” by Electric Swing Circus, “Butterfly” by Swingrowers, “Excuse My French” , “Pack Up The Louie”, “That Man” by Caroe Emerald, “The Mojo Radio Gang”, “Booty Swing” by Parov Stelar, or “Peeping Tom” by Jamie Perry.
Orion - Orion’s associated instrument would be a clarinet or saxophone (whichever). His theme would also be electro swing, however much more grand sounding, like something you’d hear on broad way. See “La Caravane”, “Rock It For Me” by Caravan Palace, “Nightmare Parade” by Fake Type, “Lady Mustache” by Tape Five, Pisk, “Feed the Machine” by Poor Man’s Poison, or “Jumpin’ Jive”, “Old Man of the Mountain” by Cab Calloway
Antimatter - Antimatter’s associated instrument would be a theremin. His theme would sound much more alien and creepy, with heavy reversed noises. See “Comics” by Caravan Palace, “Spinel’s Theme” from the Steven Universe Soundtrack, or “Main Title” from the Alien Soundtrack.
Umbriel - Because Umbriel’s Shakespearean, his associated instrument is a violin. His theme will be in the style of elegant, classical music but with a bit of a creepy edge (like off key strings, or a slow melody). See J.S. Back Violin concertos, Pennywise’s Theme from IT, “Danse Macabre” by Camille Saint-Saëns
If anyone who is experienced in music is interested, simply make a 30 second demo of whichever character’s theme you chose. You can post it on your Tumblr and send me the song via chat. You must say the name of the character and credit me for my character. Let me know in the comments if you want to try this little project out.
Ten days until I start DM’ing for a ‘Tomb of Annihilation’ campaign!
The squad is ready and hype, a mix of new players and seasoned veterans; we can’t wait!
I’ve read the module like 5 times and have an idea of what works and doesn’t, but just to be sure, any tips from DM’s who’ve ran through this in the past?!
