That’s me lossing my shit about Netflix’s The Society, especially one of their ships, Grizz (Gilbert) and Sam, in portuguese (‘cause I’m brazilian) with one friend of mine. I don’t know what else to say besides that I fucking adored this show and I’m super fucking here for Grizz and Sam together. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AND I CAN’T EVEN, Y'KNOW?
Actually, I’m lying, I know exactly what I have to say.
This show is filled with representation, good story arcs and interesting plot twists. I decided to give a shot when this friend told me it had one diverse cast and it had a LGBTQ couple (and I saw gifs by accident here, on tumblr, sooooo) and it was the very fucking best decision I could’ve made.
The guy X guy couple is a jock (very nice and off the stereotypes) with this deaf boy, and the jock one really cares about learning ASL (american sign language) so he can talk to the other soft boy on his language. Chills. Literally chills.
They developted it so carefully and really gave them the spotlight in the 4/5-final episodes along with the other couples and story arcs. Not only in the couple matter, but with their personal issues (not that it’s ignored in the first episodes of the séries, but you get what I mean…).
Anyway. Go watch this show, please. It’s not everyday we get to see an amazing series with such incredibly diversed people in it being noticed giving us everything we ask for with such open hearts and minds. They care.
And THERE’S MORE: IT ONLY HAS 10 EPISODES, SO IT REALLY IS SOMETHING YOU WON’T GET TIRED OF WATCHING ❤😥😍
hi what up my professor won’t be at school today bc some dude is holding an entire bus hostage at the rio-niterói bridge. again. there are snipers there now. since some people think it’s “cool” that we’re living in a “cyberpunk” dystopian society i’m going to start keeping you all updated in the bullshit that directly affects me, a middle class citizen living in rio, and the people i know.
i’ll tag it as “everyday brasil” (w a s not a z) feel free to either blacklist or follow it
