A good friend of mine passed away recently. The guy has been known by many names, Badman in particular but to me he’ll always be Ransak. (His DeviantArt name.) I met him over seven years ago, he was the champ-to-beat when I joined the OCT scene. And since that first silly comic tournament where we both referenced DBZ in the finals he’s become a valuable friend and one of the best people I know. To Ransak, from the first time we got to hang out IRL he drank me under the table playing Speed Bump to the last time I got to see him, deliriously happy with his fantastic wife and fellow OCT goofball Knolli. 

I don’t know what else to say except that I miss you, man. I can stare at this keyboard trying to find better words but I know you’d kick my ass for floundering around instead of driving forward. So that’s what I’m gonna do. 

Love you, man. You were a true champion.
