Aria has a rash on the back of her neck...
noticed it last night in the bath; it started out pale and very slightly raised, concentrated on the right side of her neck. This morning, it was more reddish and raised, and had spread to the other side of her neck. Tonight, it is blistery-looking and starting to spread (very slowly) down her back and is showing up on her face. The bumps are too small to tell if they are pearly or waxy or anything like that.
She does have eczema, and when I first noticed them I thought it was probably that, but again, they are blister-y looking today which isn’t normal.
She’s been fussy for a few days, hasn’t been sleeping well (wakes up in the night with a tummyache), and has diarrhea, but has not had a fever. She’s been playing like normal for the most part, just really crazy mood swings. When she wakes up from a nap she is immediately back to being cranky; no grace period at all. No impaired appetite, just extra picky.
We’ve not had anyone around with chickenpox that we know of, but a few of my brother’s friends have been snowed in with us and my grandfather has just moved into the house. Any ideas what could be going on?
