They will send you an application via email to fill out.
(In the foster application it will ask for the name of cat you are interested in fostering. Write “Kaite/Jess Kittens”. Where it says how did you hear about it write “Avarie Shevin”. She is helping us and it will help her see the application.)
❤️ Even if you can’t foster, PLEASE share and tag your friends who may be able to help find them somewhere to go. ❤️
Any of you here that might remember when Tom visited Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and bonded with Titch but couldn’t take him as already had two dogs … we all worried what happened to this big, gorgeous boy … well Battersea said in their post comments that Titch did indeed find a forever home. Happiest news!

We’re having carpet battles. Not shown: Charlotte, upon seeing Aspen get scolded for chewing carpet, rushed over to chew the exact same spot and stomped at me when I stopped her, too. Now both rabbits are irritated and refusing to make eye contact. :|
Charlotte, being a Californian, loses most of the color in her colorpoints every summer. The difference is really striking, but it’s such a slow transition, it’s hard to notice if you don’t have pictures!
Just wanted to share the newest addition to my family. Meet Louise aka LouLou. She needed to find a home urgently. And I couldn’t say no to this cute smoll bean. She’s been 2 weeks with me and her 2 bigger sisters who she’s already getting along with. Wanted to get back into building but this precious munchkin has been demanding all my attention.
When I went to the shelter to look for a cat with my best friend, all I knew was that I wanted a cat. I was looking at ones in another room, and my best friend walked up to a cage with two little orange babies in it. The smaller one saw her and immediately began purring and rubbing up on the side of the cage, trying to love her. She called my name and I came over. The second my Frederick saw me, he did the same thing, rubbing up against the cage and trying to get to me, even though he didn’t care when my friend was there. I knew the second I saw him trying to get to me that he was mine. We adopted the brothers that day. I took him home and Frederick slept in my bed with me, making sure some part of him was touching me throughout the night. BAnd he’s been the sweetest and most loving cat ever since. He’s saved me as much as I’ve saved him ♥️
If anyone else has any sweet adoption stories I would love to hear them!!

Caring for senior buns - change comes with the territory!
Aspen’s litter box habits have been declining the past few weeks - and since she’s eight years old(well into old age for a rabbit of her breed), she’ll be going to the vet to investigate any medical reason for that fairly soon. But in the meantime, since my suspicion is arthritis, here she is with her new adaptive box, the low side cut less than an inch high so she can get in and out without pain.
So far, it’s been installed for less than an hour and she loves it - she’s already been in it more than she was in her regular one the whole week, so that definitely adds to my suspicions. Will keep you guys updated!
“Patrick is a sweet guy. Once he gets all settled in, he just loooooves to play, then when he’s all played out, he is all about snuggling! So, his adopter will have to allow him on the furniture. I mean it is called "fur"niture. He is not a fan of being away from his people. If you’re home, he will demand to be right there with you. :) ”
