Bachelors
Alex: Alex takes it as a personal insult if a person starts hitting on you in front of him, especially because he makes it rather obvious you’re with him. He taunts the other person and claims their jealous, pulling you closer and giving the silent signal that they better back off before a punch is thrown. He doesn’t like to use violence, but it doesn’t mean he won’t to make a point.
Elliott: You can tell Elliott is jealous when he gets rather flustered, and starts behaving rudely to the person flirting with you. It’s nothing too obvious because Elliott is still a person who’s polite to the very end, but some of his remarks can get scathing and set the other person in a bad mood.
Harvey: Harvey might feel jealous, but he doesn’t say much while the situation is happening. He trusts in you to stop the flirting as it happens, and feels rather insecure if you don’t. He’d talk with you about it later, admitting he wanted to push the person away but didn’t want to get confrontational nor did he want to step on your toes by acting like you couldn’t defend yourself.
Sam: Sam easily laughs it off without a second thought, joking with you that you could have a legion of significant others before the night ends. He doesn’t take it too seriously unless someone begins to touch you inappropriately or their comments get a little too sexual; he would step in if that happened, telling them firmly to get lost and pulling you away from them.
Sebastian: Sebastian quietly questions why he had to be thrown into this situation, because his social anxiety was fighting with his jealousy as he considered saying something to the person flirting with you. He looks extremely uncomfortable and quietly glares at the person, willing them to go bother someone else’s significant other.
Shane: Shane doesn’t like seeing others flirt with you, as it makes him feel inadequate and like you could do far better. He does get angry with the other person, even if there’s no way to know that you’re taken, and he’s quick to tell the other person to piss off and bother another person.
Bachelorettes
Abigail: Abigail never noticed when you were flirting with her before you were together, how did you expect her to notice when someone else was flirting with her? Abigail would just inject herself without thinking, mentioning the two of you dating (which makes you think perhaps she does realize the other person is flirting with you) until she ends up confused on why the person left without continuing the conversation (”Didn’t he want new friends?).
Emily: Emily knows it’s not healthy to be jealous over nothing, but she doesn’t like seeing other people flirt with you and prefers not thinking about it. She controls her anger well but you can tell something is ever so slightly off in the way she responds to you afterwards, and you have to reassure her that you did your best to get out of the conversation for her to return to normal.
Haley: Haley gets blatantly jealous and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind in front of someone who thinks they can just get away with flirting with her significant other. She steps between the two of you and asks if they think they’re better than her, and after their answer, she informs them that you’ve already got a girlfriend, and it’s her!
Leah: Leah is rather relaxed when she sees someone else flirting with you, knowing already that you were an amazing catch and that she couldn’t help if others were attracted to you. She chats with you about it later, chuckling off her own jealousy but feeling at peace when you confirm that you only have eyes for her, and weren’t even listening to what the flirter was saying.
Maru: Maru gets a little cold to the other person when they start flirting with you, but doesn’t bring it up at all unless you talk to her about it. She admits she wanted to sock the person in the face but that it wouldn’t have been the best course of action, which she agreed with. She promises to keep her feelings open and honest with you from that point on, especially when she’s feeling jealous.
Penny: Penny tries to ignore the fact the other person is flirting with you, and just continue to have a good time with you, but finds it’s hard to ignore the person showering you in compliments. She’d probably pull out a loving pet name and hold your hand, asking softly if you’d like to return home to spend some quality alone time with her to get the point across. She’s embarrassed by how bold she was in front of the stranger, but you admit it was kinda hot.
Stardew Valley Kissing Headcanons (Bachelors)
So no one really asked for these but they’re just too much fun to write, under the cut because it’s looong.
Alex
- A dominant kisser, likes to get all handsy with his farmer while kissing. He’s also such a sucker for when the farmer gets handsy with him in return, especially when they run their hands up and down his arms. He worked hard for them!
- Expect a few hickies from him, it comes from his possessive side.
- Can sometimes be considered a rough kisser, he just can’t help but be as close as he possibly can to the farmer when they’re kissing.
Elliott
- Although he seems romantic, I feel like he can be a bit shy when it comes to kissing his farmer. It usually takes the farmer to deepen the kiss, as Elliott is afraid of going too fast or being perceived as ungentlemanly. But as time goes on and Elliott is more confident in the relationship he is more likely to lean over and sweep the farmer into his arms and just kiss them with grandeur.
- Kisses with a lot of love, but is not above nibbling on a lip or earlobe from time to time.
Harvey
- Tastes like coffee, but not in a gross way! It comes off as more of a signature taste from him. Harvey likes to take it slow when kissing his partner, and is such a teaser. He’ll let the farmer get totally into it, but then pull away, smile and try to make conversation. He does it to make the farmer frustrated enough to the point where they just grab him by the collar and have at him.
- LOVES to give and receive neck kisses, nothing is more satisfying to him than find that certain spot that just makes the farmer go crazy.
Sam
- So talkative! Likes to mumble into the kiss about how much he loves the farmer, almost to the point where it’s considered annoying. Likes it when the farmer plays with the hair at the base of his neck, it’s honestly a guaranteed way to send shivers down his spine. Puts a lot of effort into the kiss, he thinks it’s important to put 100% into all performances.
- Sam has probably never given a boring kiss, he likes to switch it up. So occasionally there’s a random lip bite thrown in, just to throw the farmer off.
Sebastian
- He’s such a sweet kisser, and likes to start by first trailing his thumb on the farmer’s bottom lip. Not really pushy or grabby in any way, but his preferred position to be kissing is with the farmer in his lap. Made out with the farmer on his motorcycle once (while it was parked of course) but it wasn’t as hot as he thought it would be. In most cases he would much rather the farmer take the lead.
- Although he enjoys kissing, he’s not really into extremely long makeout sessions on the regular. But would never go a day without a morning kiss.
Shane
- Kisses sting a little with him, as he always seems to have a five o’clock shadow. The scruff is easy to look by though, because Shane is a very grabby kisser, and definitely likes to use tongue. So the scruff is usually pretty easy to ignore because Shane goes all in.
- He feels like he’s an old man, so he sometimes feels silly for wanting to have a makeout session like he’s a teenager again. But when the farmer and him get a moment alone, he can’t help but pounce on them.

- He has never noticed you were so strong until he gets lifted by you over a dare. He really blacks out for a second.
- “I weigh 190 lbs, how the FUCK did you do that??” “I work on a farm, hun. I have to carry bags of seeds twice your weight.”
- He spends the next ten minutes trying to convince you to let him work on the farm. He’s so happy when you agree.
- Ever since then, you occasionally find him staring at you as you work on the farm. He says it’s because no matter how much he helps he can’t get as muscular as you, but something in his tone doesn’t let you believe him.
Elliot
- He had never been one for muscular strength. Brains over brawn, right?
- Until one early morning he looks out his window, trying to find inspiration for his book and he’s hit with a perfect view of the farmer, in a swimsuit.
- He’s sure he can feel his jaw hit the floor. He could never have imagined they were hiding such beautiful muscles under those baggy clothes.
- He also found all the inspiration he needed to finish that chapter he was working on ;)
Harvey
- As the town’s doctor (aka, the guy who has to do all the check-ups), he knew you couldn’t be scrawny-looking. He just didn’t know how much.
- It wasn’t until you got a serious injury and had to take off your clothes to let you be treated by him that he got a good look at your muscles. And what a good look he got.
- You’re lucky you weren’t seriously injured as he kept getting distracted while he disinfected the cuts, laying his hand on the injuries just a little bit longer than he normally did…
Sam
- It’s a hot summer day and he was out with you and Sebastian on the river, when suddenly, he takes off his shirt and dares you both to jump in the river with him. You follow him, to the boys’ demise.
- Sam almost doesn’t dodge you as you jump in the river, by how dazed he is, and he dives underwater. When he resurfaces he’s hit again by the sight of you pushing your hair out of your face.
- He quickly snaps out of his daze as you tackle him and start a fight, followed by another splash of water thrown by Sebastian.
Sebastian
- He was with you and Sam, on the edge of the river, and he’s almost as dazed as Sam, but he’s not surprised. You’ve been working on the farm for what now? Four years? All that muscle is only natural.
- Though he must admit, it looks good on you. Almost too good…
- He’s tempted to take a picture to show Abigail, but then he gets embarrassed at the idea of secretly snapping a hot picture of one of his best friends. Especially when he’s basically drooling after them.
Shane
- Shane is the first one who finds out. He works at the farm often with you, helping with the chickens and the barn animals, and it just so happened that one day you tripped and fell over him in the barn.
- His hands just so managed to find themselves on your chest, which to him felt so much harder than he thought it would be.
- He takes them back immediately, his cheeks flushing red already as you patiently get off him. You hear him muttering something about going less to the gym since you’re already so damn ripped as he exits the barn.
BachelorettesAbigail
- Abby, dear Abby… She doesn’t expect it in the least. You two were chilling alone in her room, playing videogames. You were sitting on the bed and she was on the floor.
- Suddenly, she says she’s uncomfortable and climbs in with you, laying her head on your chest. She doesn’t expect to feel those pectorals against her.
- Not that she doesn’t like it. On the contrary… It just gives her more reasons to lay against you.
Emily
- You’ve been practicing dancing with her for a while now, and one day she insisted you shower at her house since it’s cold outside and she doesn’t want you to catch something.
- As you get out and she’s ready to climb in, she notices you timidly asking for a bigger towel, since the ones you found were kind of small. It’s a Vision for her.
- She hands you the towel in a daze, and gets in the shower, turning the water setting to the coldest one she can withstand. She wonders if you’d like to learn belly dancing.

- You’re out in the woods with her when a summer storm surprises you out of nowhere. You run from tree to tree, trying to stay as dry as you can, when Haley slips on a rock and falls, twisting her ankle.
- You don’t wait for a beat and you instantly pick her up, you have to get her home. She lays her head on your chest, and wraps her arms around your neck.
- You don’t notice her looking at you adoringly all the way home, like a knight in shining armor.
Leah
- She needs to work on a new project involving wood, and she’d usually go fetch it herself, but her axe broke and she needs a piece far bigger than what Robin can provide, so she comes to you.
- You offer to cut it down for her, and it takes some convincing, but eventually she caves. You find a big Oak tree and chop it down in a matter of minutes.
- Her finished sculpture is breathtaking, “Homage to Life”, it’s called. Nobody knows but she kept thinking of the way your muscles tensed as you chopped the wood… Such a smooth, powerful gesture.
Maru
- She was working on a project of hers, and she had just received a really heavy package filled with lots of materials. She had been trying to move it for a while now, when she saw you coming.
- She looks at you quizzically as you ask if you could carry it for her, and she chuckles as she says “Knock yourself out. It’s so heavy I don’t think anyone can lift it.”
- And she really can’t believe her eyes when she sees you carrying it easily to the house and in her basement. Well… now she knows just the person to call when she’s having such troubles…
Penny
- She’s reading in the woods, near the lake, when she hears you arrive. She invites you to sit down and enjoy the peaceful afternoon with her, and you did, until you notice something.
- Immediately, you drag her towards the trees, telling her to stay silent, because there’s a bear hiding in the bushes. She nudges closer to you as you grip her tightly.
- She doesn’t mean to, but her hands trail your muscles as she finds a comfortable position and she blushes as she realizes what she’s doing and just how damn hard your muscles are. When everything is over, she runs home and shuts the door behind her, still embarrassed about the accident.

If I ubderstand correctly, a crew of black CNN journalists was arrested. White crews and reporters have a different experience.

If they’re arresting people providing a specific perspective and not arresting people who cannot provide the same perspective that’s not better.
How can we trust news sources if cops are targeting certain types of reporters [black] ?

Racially targeting reporters is still a form of information control. Minneapolis police are targeting black voices to silence.
It’s also intimidation. It’s saying: no matter who you are, what you are here for, if you are black, we’re going to arrest you. We’re going to use violence against you.
Make no mistake, this is about white terrorism intimidating black people, using police as the weapon.

I’m not an US resident, I currently live in Chile and sadly there’s no worker protection here, I worked 3 years and even had 2 years of annual leave accumulated I was waiting to use to get to Venezuela and visit my family but they wont even pay me those because “there’s no money”. About the cash app I’m no united states resident so I cant use the app. Cant get a GoFound me neither because of that.
Someone told me to make a patreon account so I’ll look into that.
I’ll also be looking for remote IT work on support and related areas (hope I can finde something)

The Bachelors When...
they realize they are in love
Harvey - He is going over some files in the clinic when he realizes the new farmer in town has never come in for a checkup. He starts looking through all his file cabinets to see if he had any of their medical records, beginning to worry profusely if they are taking care of themselves properly. When Maru walks in to ask if everything is alright, him looking up at her red across the face, he realizes why he is jumping to such worrisome conclusions.
Sebastian - he is working on his computer, unable to focus. He is growing frustrated, leaning back in his computer chair when he suddenly hears footsteps over head, the farmer’s voice greeting his mother. Listening to them talk, he realizes why he can’t think straight.
Elliott - he is talking with Willy while he fishes about his new novel when Willy suddenly mentions the farmer being full of creative ideas and that they can probably help him. When Willy says their name, Elliott’s heart flutters, wanting to ask Willy to tell him more about the farmer. Stopping his impulse, he realizes why he is suddenly so curious.
Shane - he rolls out of bed as soon as his alarm goes off in morning for the first time since he moved to Pelican town and showers to get ready for work. He looks at himself in the mirror as he pulls on his jacket, and upon making eye contact with his reflection, he realizes what he is doing.
Alex - he has been becoming more concerned with his appearance since the farmer arrived but its when he is patiently waiting outside his house for the farmer to walk by, he rejects Haley’s offer to hang out and looks towards the direction the farmer normally approaches him from, realizing what he is doing.
Sam - he has been hitting a writers block with his songs, unable to drain his head from cheesy lyrics and stop his fingers from playing soft notes no matter how hard he tries. Sebastian jokes by saying “what? Can’t stop thinking about the farmer?” But in that moment Sam realizes he is right.
