Just throwing this out here, biden voted for DOMA, was a segregationist, his head of Muslim outreach is a fucking puppet for the BJP in India, AKA Hindu nationalists who are actively oppressing India’s Muslim population in the most literal sense of the word, he was pro war in the Middle East which has lead to hundreds of thousands of innocent people dying, and possibly most relevant to the events currently unfolding nationwide, the Ferguson uprisings happened during his second term as Vice President and the administration he was second in command of actively condemned the Ferguson protesters and black lives matter. Yes trump is worse but joe biden is a racist, a rapist, a liar, and the face of ambivalence in the face of injustice. I am so sick of people on Twitter like this with no actual understanding of what people to the left of them believe and prefer to endlessly straw man people they disagree with in favor of pointless moral posturing to protect the status quo. If biden wins in November things will just get easier for you to ignore, they will not get better.

this is why it’s hard for me to get behind democratic candidates. they, like republicans, are so focused on domestic policy and improving america for americans that they don’t address the harm america does to the rest of the world. if the US fight against climate change doesn’t take into account the massive environmental harm the US causes outside the country, it’s fucking useless.
the US military is a MASSIVE source of pollution in the world, in fact, one of the largest. where is the discussion about that on stage tonight? why is the US supposed to convince other countries to clean up its own messes?

The myth of Asian countries being the largest source of pollution has been latched onto by overt white supremacists for obvious reasons (people of color are to blame for an ongoing disaster, because of their lack of responsibility, and they’re threatening a world for white children.) But even more disturbingly, it’s become part of the mainstream conversation too, and past that, even adamant leftists have echoed this myth ignoring outsourcing pollution.
I’m still 👀 about how many leftists I saw on here willing to co-sign a post talking about how individuals who can abstaining from single use plastics was pointless because of Asian countries’ pollution. Unsurprisingly, the op was an out and out fascist!
I think that’s an issue that’s going to continue to get worse, both in the larger public perception and in communities where you’d expect people to know better.

Okay ffs I really hate to do this shit again but I'm literally fucked on every level but ome currently. So most of you guys know I was working a seasonal position for the holidays with long hours and all...welp that position ended the day after Christmas and I still had to paychecks left to recieve from the place. I managed to get my 2nd to last paycheck without any problems but my stupid ass dumbass credit union decided now would be the perfect time to come in an collect part of the left over balance that was on my old account (which had to be shut down due to fraud) aka the entirety of my paycheck with no hooe of recovery of said funds so now I'm left with absolutely no money and no income coming in with a $140 car payment that needs to be paid by this Friday or else my car will be shut down and towed. To make matters worse I don't really have any money to buy food or gas with either so I won't be able to get to any prospective interviews either 🙃 I guess what saying but if you guys could please reblog or donate so I can at least have enough to pay my car payment for two weeks it'd help a lot at this point. I'm really tired of having to do this and hopefully things get better soon.
