I think that people, especially white women, do not like the concept of transandrophobia because it challenges the way we in the western world treat all men (especially men of color tbh, but I can't really speak on that). The concept that men can and do experience "androphobia" goes directly against radical feminist rhetoric that men are always the aggressor and women are always the victim. I would also like to suggest that western society propagates this fear of men as a way to intimidate people into conformity. This is why I'm super suspicious of people who write this off as "trutherism", what do you have to gain from ignoring lived transmasculine experiences?
