Um I wasn't told this until now but my 10 yo niece is dropping by in an hour, she's been in hospital for years and she can finally leave her home! I'm so happy I could cry I am crying
She's coming over and she wants tips for drawing, I'm SUPER overwhelmed idek where to start💦💦💦. If anyone has any good ideas lemme know??

This kid, man... She has so much to say! Her drawings are soooo !!!!!!!! She says they're awful but dude. They're so incredibly her. They're beautiful. She's so honest about her pain but she's a teenager, she doesnt have the words yet AND I GET THAT. Now my new goal is to teach her to like her drawings. And I will fight till I succeed 🔥✊

Ailani reunites with her parents a few weeks before she leaves the Order.
However, the meeting is nothing like she had dreamed. Her parents can hardly look at her, and the coldness in the air could freeze Mustafar. Her Father won’t even remove his helmet and refers to her only as “jetii.”
By the end of their conversation, Ailani is completely out of tears, and her voice is raw from arguing. She’s so tired. Tired of everything, tired of the war, fighting, and dreaming. So tired. Her Mother does soften towards the departure and she presses a kiss to Ailani’s hairline. Her Father, however, remains as cold as beskar and twice as strong.
It’s more than she can take.
And she snaps.
Ailani turns only a few steps from the door and throws her lightsaber at her Father’s shiny, perfect, indifferent, helmet.
He catches it with ease because he and Ailani are the same, and he wouldn’t have left without a fight either.
She demands her trial. Her verd'goten. She doesn’t need the whole thing, the survival trial, the weapons examination. She just wants the test of strength. One fight with him.
It’s what he trained her for, isn’t it? It’s what she was born for, isn’t it?
Ailani is desperate to prove that she isn’t a waste of space.
And her Father accepts.
Ailani doesn’t stand a chance.
The only thing they prove is how hard they can make the Mother cry.
