Watch WHY WE PROCRASTINATE AND HOW TO STOP IT here.
We all know it, we all do it, we all struggle with it: procrastination. No matter how often we think “today’s the day”, we’ll find at least 5 excuses to skip that one point on our To-Do List - again (and again, and again). Before I will talk you through 3 easy steps on how to stop procrastinating, I’ll tell you the one and only reason why you are doing it:
Whatever it is you want to do, if you keep pushing it further and further, finding excuses and ways out, you didn’t decide. Thinking about doing it isn’t deciding. Putting it on your To-Do List isn’t deciding either, and trying to go for it until it gets uncomfortable is nothing more than a sad attempt to decide. Think about it - its actually true, isn’t it?
To ACTUALLY go for it and therefore, to STOP PROCRASTINATION, these 3 easy steps helped me heaps:
(little extra motivation: everything you include into your routine becomes a habit after one month. so it’ll get easier, and you’ll start loving it, I promise!)
I hope this is helping you to overcome procrastinating habits, and start moving closer and closer to your goals. Watch the full video here. By the way hi and welcome to every new follower on here, so happy about every single one of you. Feel free to message me, I’d love to get in touch with you! :)
You’ll hear from me soon gorgeous, xx
Watch HOW TO MANAGE YOUR TIME BETTER here.
We are wasting it, we are enjoying it, we want more of it and sometimes it flies: Time - the most precious thing we have.
I’m sure you have said and heard the words “I don’t have enough time for that!“ plenty of times. Here’s what I think about it: it’s to 100% avoidable. Time is an illusion. We always have it when it comes down to it, and today I’m sharing 5 tips on how to make this thesis a fact.
My favourite tip is #1 though - it works so good. You know why? Lets do a little experiment:
You tell yourself every day that you’re too busy with “important” things and don’t have the time to tidy up your room. You’ll eventually handle it until one day where you need to be at an appointment at 6 am - and suddenly can’t find your keys. You spend 35 minutes panically turning your room upside down until you finally sight them under your pillow (how did that even … ?) - anyways, the point is: You just spent 35 minutes. 35 minutes you were sure you wouldn’t have. You might be super stressed and late (what could’ve been avoided by making tidy up your room a priority) but the necessity of you needing your keys in order to leave the house made you having the time you were not supposed to have. Mind-blowing, isn’t it? Therefore, time is nothing but an illusion and the quote
“I don’t have time” really means “it’s not my priority.”
is on point. I hope those tips will help you get the most out of your time and achieve everything you want to. For more, check out this video. You’ll hear more from me soon gorgeous, xx
Hello, my name is Yumna and I’m a junior in high school! Here are some of my favorite apps to use during school season!

myHomework Student Planner-Pretty Self Explaintory…and yes, its a LONG name but its great!

Dragon Dictation- This app allows a truly hand-free text input. Use your voice to dictate a text message or email, create Facebook status updates etc..
MathWay- its a very useful app that can help you solve all those math problems that require a more complex tool than your device’s built-in calculator.
Socratic- All you have to do is take a photo of your homework question and get answers, math solvers, explanations, and videos. Works for Math, Science, History, English, and many more.
GoodBudget- Great for students who want to keep track of their money to spend, save, and give toward what’s important in life.
Evernote- Helps organize your work and declutter your life. With Evernote on your desktop and mobile devices, your notes are always with you and always in sync.

If you know me, you’d know that I am a highly visual person. I love learning from images and layouts, and my spatial intelligence is probably my strongest type of intelligence. Because of this, I often use mind maps to study, and so do a lot of other people. However, there are people who don’t really know how to make and utilize a mind map effectively. That’s what this post is for! Here’s how you can make your mind maps more effective and thus enable you to retain more information. (P.S. you might wanna zoom in)
By no means am I an expert in mind-mapping; these are just some habits I have when making a mind map that successfully does its job of helping me remember the topics I’m studying.
If you have any questions, feel free to drop an ask!

Where can we access all of your study drive?
I can’t share my entire Study Drive (bc google doesn’t have that feature) but here are the links to the files with all the downloads and printables I’ve posted:
B Y E I N T S E I N
Hey guys, my week has been pretty hectic but I made time to create a few printables that will hopefully help you with your school life. Click on the titles (links to the file on my Study Drive) to download them!
To help you keep track of all your assignments, homework, projects, etc. Includes a progress bar that you can shade in according to how much of the assignment you’ve completed. You can also set a goal or expected score and compare it to your final score. I included fields for “date given” and “date due” so that you can prioritize and plan your tasks accordingly. I wanted to include a box to check when you’ve submitted the assignment because sometimes I complete the assignment but forget to submit it, or I’ve already submitted the assignment but panic because I thought I hadn’t done it yet. I couldn’t squeeze this into the sheet, but I think you could just put a tick beside the due date or something.
For subjects that require you to memorize formulas, like physics, economics, math, etc. The left column is for the formula, while the right is for variables and their units, e.g. “v = u + at” would go on the left, while the right column would have something like “v: final velocity/ms-1; u: initial velocity/ms-1; a: acceleration/ms-2; t: time/s”.
31 columns and 16 rows to help you maintain your habits, e.g. drinking 8 glasses of water a day, exercising, journaling, etc.
Similar to what I have in my bullet journal in this post. I use it mainly to see the relationship between how much I study and how high I score on tests, but you can also use it to maintain your grades.
That’s all for now. Hope these printables help, and may the rest of your school year be well-organized! Oh, and feedback would be rad; I always appreciate it when I find out how I can improve my content. Have a great week :)
