So there’s this seal rehabilitation center I like to watch the livestream of from time to time. This morning was pool cleaning day, the day they weigh the rescue seals and photograph them to keep track of their rehabilitation progress as a sudden change in weight is a serious health indicator among other things. The box helps keep them on the scale as, otherwise, you cannot weigh bouncy boys.

This seal was having NONE OF IT. One of the workers was attempting to get the seal to turn so they could get a photo of its side. (They are not hitting the seal, at most she is giving him a little shove in the direction it needs to turn.) HE DID NOT LIKE BEING TOUCHED WITH THE SQUEEGEE.

He did NOT like his photo being taken!

As soon as they took the box to weigh one of the other seals HE STOLE THE FRIGGIN’ SQUEEGEE!!! 

It’s a pool-cleaning day at the rehab center, and you are an angery seal.

Cinderella (1950)

This. This moment is the most important in the movie. This is when the Prince falls for her - he was infatuated before but he clearly thought that the reason Cinderella was around him was because he was the Prince, but when he discovered she has no clue, he realised that she stayed and talked and spent the whole night with him because she likes who he was as a person - not his title. Not only that but he liked her; we don’t know what they talked about, but we can imagine it must have been interesting and nice to last a whole night so we know she just have said something that made him want to stay around her too. That’s why he wanted to find her, not cause she was pretty (I mean the guy couldn’t even remember her face and went off a shoe for God’s sake - which gives me a theory that the Prince has Prosopagnosia AKA face blindness) but because she liked him not his title, and he liked whoever she was, rich or poor.

The prince has face blindness and dumbass disease ok? He’s trying his best!

Anybody else remember how for a few years after 9/11 it was totally reasonable to be scared of a low-flying plane or flying/airports in general. It was just understood the 9/11 was an event that affected the American psyche and even though most planes landed totally safely it was understandable to be scared.

But when young people who are increasingly forced to consider the thought of being shot in school or at concerts say they feel uncomfortable with people openly carrying guns in public, suddenly they're too sensitive and infringing on the rights of others.
