Au where Vanilla overcome by grief that White Lily became Dark Enchantress and pitying the rejected cookies of the world joins them. He joined with the intentions of helping them learn to fight against their fates without hurting other people.
But since he's not the leader and is closely monitored by DE (who warned the others not to listen to him) he's more of a weak minion than anything else. Dark Enchantress has mixed feelings about his alliedship as she just wants his powers, but doesn't have the heart to kill him them. So he's kept around begrudgingly to follow orders she gives.
He's still trying to save people despite the circumstances tho and learns the stories of all the members as he tries to help them get their lives in order without DE finding out.
Anyways enough sad angsty stuff have a tiny comic I made lazily the other night
Also maybe just maybe deep deep down Dark Enchantress wants him to truly be on her side again and wishes for it more than she's letting on, but idk that's anyone's guess.
