Farewell

So for the past two years my blogging has been minimal to nonexistent. I have had this blog since high school and now I am 24, have a big girl job, and just sort of lost touch with blogging. Nothing against it and maybe someday I’ll come back to it, but for now I am focusing my time on other endeavors. So I’m writing this post to say farewell to all of you lovely people who have read my posts on here throughout the years. Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful prayers. God has been so so good. I pray you all are continually encouraged and feel loved. I will continue to have my Instagram account and post little bits of encouragement through there, I’ll post my link below. I have also started an Etsy store to sell little crafts that I make in my free time if any of you are interested :) Again, you all are fabulous & I pray God continues to work in each and everyone of your hearts. God bless lovelies!

Steadfast Love

God’s love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks.

How exquisite your love, O God! How eager we are to run under your wings, To eat our fill at the banquet you spread as you fill our tankards with Eden spring water. You’re a fountain of cascading light, and you open our eyes to light. | psalm 36:5-9, msg |

This passage opens my eyes just a little wider & makes me feel His love abounding further. 

“Nothing gets lost,” how wonderful that reminder is. He saves us all. The ESV version states it as, “man and beast you save, O Lord.” 

None of us are worthy, and I know we all feel that weight of brokenness on the daily, but let His grace cover you- not so you can continue down the path of the world, but so you can live a life of praise, gratefulness & purpose. 

God, it seems you’ve been our home forever; long before the mountains were born, long before you brought earth itself to birth, from “once upon a time” to “kingdom come”—you are God. Psalm 90:1-2

The Witness of Creation and Scripture For the choir director. A Davidic psalm.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.

It is like a groom coming from the bridal chamber; it rejoices like an athlete running a course. It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from its heat.

The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise. The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are reliable and altogether righteous. They are more desirable than gold— than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey, which comes from the honeycomb. In addition, Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them.

Who perceives his unintentional sins? Cleanse me from my hidden faults. Moreover, keep Your servant from willful sins; do not let them rule over me. Then I will be innocent and cleansed from blatant rebellion. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
