No theme, just cross stitch & other fun!
My main blog is @postcardsfrompennsylvania if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Mule nannies are used in Italy when grazing animals are moved from high pastures down to the plains. Newborn lambs are unable to make the journey own their own. They ride in pouches of a specially made saddle. At rest stops lambs are returned to their mothers for a meal & some nuzzling. (Source: https://ift.tt/2MtebOp)

All aboard the lamb bus.

Awwwwwww! 🐑

British Major Alexis Casdagli while being a POW started a hobby of stitching while in captivity. His work was so good that it was hung on the wall by the German guards, not realizing the secret message stitched on it. The message ‘God Save the King’ and ‘Fu*K Hitler’ was stitched in Morse code.

@bureau-of-spines  Working out the pattern issues with the boots right now and proportion with the helmet that goes inside the head gear/top. Going to be a bit simplified, due to size. And yes, he is indeed standing upright on his own two feet here.

that is a damn good hat and boot

Thanks, bud. Glad you’re okay with it so far. Might have an update later today, as well.

@bureau-of-spines  Lining for pants and top are done, except for the face mask port hole thing. I’m working on that more tomorrow. That needs to be done and partially inserted into the lining before I can tack the hat in place, and then add the silver over draping. Also need to find the box with the silver cording for the drawstrings. Pants should be done tomorrow. Top next, then boots last. So….making progress. :D

Sounds good! I’m glad it’s going well.

Is that… who I think it is?

Brobably.
