The Jacket

Someone write a story about these two sharing Kara’s jacket while she’s away or something.

Emma: Regina you gotta order a piece of this pie!

Regina: I did. You immediately ate it.

Regina: What are you doing right now?

Emma: Helping Henry look for his bag of M&M's that i ate an hour ago.

Susie had the worst timing.

It wasn't like they kissed in Doctor Isles' office much - wasn't like they even rounded second in her office - but every time Maura closed the blinds, a few minutes later Susie would knock apologetically, waiting until the door opened to hand over some paperwork. Usually she was followed by Korsak or Frost, sometimes a detective from a different team or another lab tech.

But Jane hated the sound of that tentative knock Susie gave, the knowledge that she'd have to stop kissing Maura a moment later. Some days they practically lived at the office, and now that Jane had been brave enough to kiss Maura she wanted to do it as often as she could. Maura thought it was inappropriate to kiss they way they did at work, but she never complained.

The knock came, and Jane groaned, tucking her shirt in where Maura's reckless hands had tugged it out.

"Yes, Susie?" Jane asked as sarcastically as she could. The door opened a crack and Susie's head just popped in.

"Todd's keeping Cavanaugh busy, but you'd better make sure you're presentable."

Jane's jaw dropped and Maura blushed, straightening her skirt and wiping her lipstick from Jane's throat, buttoning up Jane's shirt.

"Thank you, Senior Criminalist Chang," Maura said stiffly, but Jane understood suddenly. That Susie had been - she'd known. And she'd been helping them by not letting anyone else interrupt them. By waiting until Maura opened the door so they could keep what little privacy they had left in this place.

"Yeah, thanks Susie," Jane said, giving her a smile. Susie blushed at Jane using her first name, and Cavanaugh appeared behind her in the doorway as she scampered back to the lab.

Susie didn't have bad timing, Jane realised. Susie had their backs.
