IT’S HAPPENING AT LAST! I get the honor and privilege of editing a QUICKSILVER SOLO BOOK spinning out of AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER!
I’ve been trying to get a Quicksilver solo book going….literally since I was hired at Marvel–how can you NOT want to tell a story about a guy who’s personality is suited for anything other than super-heroing, but that’s what he does anyway? And now, AT LAST, the moment has come!
I’m so excited for the story Saladin Ahmed and Eric Nguyen are telling. Quicksilver rarely gets to be in stories that are just about him, so we’re going all-in on picking apart who Quicksilver is, why he makes the choices he does, and who he wants to be going forward. I can’t WAIT for people to read this book.
Read Saladin’s first interview about the book over on CBR, where you’ll also find more art from the first issue! And if you’re as excited as I am for this book, make sure to pre-order it from your local retailer by the order cutoff of 4/23–or pick up the first issue in stores or online 5/16!

But I do want you to know that I love your comic! And no matter what you do I will probably always love it because you managed to combine the fandoms in such an amazing way AND you are drawing it all! Like??? That? Is? So? Impressive????? That's possible, though a tricky problem to fix the way Tumblr is set up. And also, thank you so much!! I've been feeling very discouraged by negativity on the internet lately and you all are reminding me what a kind little corner of it I could always find here. :)
