Y'know, I kind of wish a few more of Yami’s opponents could have been like Mako. I like how he was serious about the duel and takes a moment to be upset about losing, but then is immediately cheerful and optimistic again. He’s like “Oh well, no big deal. There’s always next time” and it’s just kind of a nice attitude to see. He even gets a genuine smile out of Yami, who’s just happy to duel against someone else who really enjoys the game.
