My contribution to shelzie‘s Super Smash Bros Art Collab (supersmashartists) - our boy Roy in his violet alt color!! ^O^ So glad to have been able to participate in this, was just what I needed to motivate me into get some awesome finished art out. The Sword of Seals nearly had me questioning if I’d get this finished, but, with my brother’s wonderful encouragement and help to get me some clear in game references, it honestly turned out great I think. Cannot wait to see how the collab will turn out in the end with all the great art everyone has contributed coming together.

So for the past week I’ve been staring at supersmashartists​ wondering why my picture wasn’t reblogged until I realised I forgot to tag them.  Ooops!  So I took the time to rework some parts I wasn’t quite happy with and this is the result.  Hope you guys like it!

Actually it’s because I’ve been working on the background this week and haven’t been keeping up with reblogging as much as perhaps I should. Also, I do get a lot of notes on this one so mentions do tend to get a bit buried. Sorry for the delay! I like the subtle pinkish lighting on this Pit!

Huh, just when I thought my involvement in shelzie‘s Super Smash Art Collab was over… HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!!

Here is my Ryu picture, in his orange color, charging his Shinku Hadoken…no, wait a minute, that’s not a Hadoken, that’s a Smash Ball! Is he turning his Final Smash into a Critical Art? Or is the orange just making Ryu kinda greedy?

I’ll be honest, I don’t feel this is as good as the Falcon piece. It was very rushed and somewhat experimental, was going for a cartoony look combined with SF4′s ink wash style. And I couldn’t get the Smash Ball to glow in the way I wanted it to.

But hey, it’s here so I managed to get it in after all. Yay me!

I love this move so much. More so when I’m tackling somebody with it but… Both of the poses I had for that were too difficult for me to do in the end so I just made a different one entirely.

My third and final submission to Super Smash Bros Art Collab 2K15. Zelda has been my main since Melee. A lot had changed over the years, but she still has a fantastic kick.

This time with THE SUPAHERO DEDEDEMAN unleashing a forward smash so powerful that even his own clothing can’t help but react! The belt dee reactions are my FAVOURITE

ROB for the supersmashartists Smash Collab, I’ll admit I somehow managed to cut this one pretty close. Robot Operating Buddy and I go way back to the mid 90s, heck I still have him sitting at home on a shelf sitting atop my computer desk. Can I get an R-O-B ROB!?

My final submission for shelzie‘s supersmashartists collab project, Lady Palutena. I really didn’t think I was going to make the deadline for this one, but with some discipline, I managed, WOOHOO!!! This collab was so much fun and pretty much gave me a lot motivation to just draw and sketch even though I may have gotten a little carried away, I’ll admit. But this was still an awesome experience to be apart of and because of it, I may consider starting a commissions page sometime in the near future with these guys to represent and more. Drawing and animating are my life and I feel like this project really helped get back up to speed. Hope you guys enjoyed my work, really happy to contribute.

Here’s my submission for the smash bros art collab: Diddy, the Quick Kong! I’ve got him armed extensively with the Rocket belt, Super Scope and one of his popguns. He’s ready to join the fight by mimicking his Final Smash, so when that magical orb floats in and the others scramble to grab it, he’ll be one step ahead.
