Exhausted

Life manages to be draining for me at times. When I say life I of course mean work. Work is tiresome to say the least. I’m glad to have a job. I’m blessed that I can say I have a decent paying job. However, I’m not happy where I work. I understand how some people are just like I work here to only pay the bills. Plus it’s not easy to find a job nowadays. Now I just got an email asking for an interview for a new job out of city. It’s scary to leave home and start somewhere new. Oh well I probably should be thinking like that yet. I haven’t even gone on the interview yet.

Dangers of Social Media

Two years ago I fell into the trap of social media. I was on every social media platform possible. I had Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Kik, etc.. I spent so much time living in there that I didn’t spend time in the real world. Then, life happened and I cut them all off for like a year. I was freed from the grasp of social media. I didn’t worry about what everyone else was doing nor did I care. I made sure to experience as much life as I could in the real world. However, after a year I realized I was out of touch with everyone and everything. I didn’t know the news of what was going on in the football, I hadn’t talked to any friends outside of like one and so forth. Now, I’ve slowly integrated myself back into. First with Snapchat, then twitter and now instagram. I doubt I’ll go back with Facebook because it’s the worst of all of them. However, I do miss it and sometimes I wish I was back there. Although I realize that I wasn’t happy when I was on Facebook. Therefore, I’m careful not to fall back into old me and just live in social media. Moral of the story is it’s hard to live without social media nowadays, but you got to be careful and not live in that world.

i love speaking with people who are more intelligent in a certain field than i am, like it’s just great to sit back and listen to somebody educate you on shit they’re passionate about

So true. You can learn a lot from people that are more knowledgeable in a given topic than you.

Loneliness and Happiness

Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which is which. Now they seem like 2 obviously different emotions. Happiness being when you’re feeling all good inside. Loneliness being when you’ve got this emptiness inside and no one to go to for help. While they both are useful, they do make life hard at times. Happiness idk where I’m going with this... it’s hard to express emotions. Both are apart of my life and I’m sure apart of many people lives. Just why is it so hard life...?

But I will always understand: A bit of why Peter Parker loves Tony so much is because he knows Tony will be funding his college.

Peter is poor. Tony is incredibly rich.

Peter took out all those people at the airport for you! He endangered himself! Technically, you were the one violating child labor laws. Hes only 15 or so. Peter should not have to worry about college loans or the cheapest lunch meals!

But, seriously, we know Tony gives him money on the side, right?

True thought here. Granted this is probably a joke post but for reals there is a relationship between Peter and Tony. Tony is a father figure/mentor for Peter. Granted Tony has his obvious flaws and struggles to be a mentor to the younger Peter.

I think Tony definitely wants to fill the father role in Peter’s life. He’s probably never going to have kids, and he’s probably come to terms with that. Then he meets a genius teenage orphan boy who wants to do good to change the world. Tony sees the best parts of himself in Peter and he wants to be to Peter what he never had himself, someone to protect and encourage him. Plus Aunt May is raising him alone, so Tony would think that Peter needs a male role model/father figure.

Another thing is you can tell how much he cares about Peter. In Civil War he tells Peter to stay down because he doesn’t want him to get hurt. He installed the “training wheels” program in his suit because he doesn’t want Peter to get cocky with all the amazing gadgets and hurt himself. He installed a tracker, a heater and a parachute in case Peter gets lost or cold (I saw this on Pinterest, someone made the link that with Tony being lost in the desert in Iron Man, and lost in the cold without his suit in Iron Man 3) and in case he falls (like Rhodey did). But Tony especially doesn’t want Peter to get hurt. Rhodey broke his spine, Pepper nearly died how many times, Happy was hospitalised. Everyone around him gets hurt, so when Tony takes Peter under his wing, there are no precautions to extreme to protect him.

Makes sense. Granted Tony has his own Daddy issues so it’s a continuing struggle for Tony to be the father figure for Peter. It’s gonna be interesting how their relationship will develop.
