Day four of counting down to Halloween. The Witch is one of my favorite movies of the past ten years and it caters to my taste in horror with a payoff I had been waiting my whole life for. I absolutely love this film.

I don’t have kids, ya’all. I don’t have a wife, or even a girlfriend. I have floundered my way (happily) through 48 years, and I’m telling you that adopting dogs has been the best thing I’ve ever done with my capabilities. Tops my music, my writing, my everything. You should, if you can. I’m just saying, if you have the resources, and you have the inclination... reach out to your local shelters and give a dog or cat a home. Don’t get hung up on perfect circumstances or the perfect animal; just do it. Long haul that shit and let it be awesome.
