reiterating because maybe we weren't clear the first time
if you really like someone's art, reblog it. you can do that by clicking the little looping arrows at the bottom of the post. this will make it so the art appears on your blog and shows up to your followers, but the op is still credited and given notes.
reposting does not give credit. and no, saying "artist is ___" as the caption doesn't count, unless you have permission given directly by the artist.
if you have a funny or pretty image on your phone that you saved from reddit, don't post it here on tumblr, because 99% of the time it came from tumblr. use a reverse image search to try and find the original tumblr post, and reblog that.
taking that extra five minutes to find the original post of an artist you love will absolutely brighten their day and make the entire world a better place.
please, I'm begging you. reblog art. don't repost it.
idk if unalive has ever helped anyone not get banned from any website but it is impossible for me to separate it from deadpool in that one episode of that one animated spiderman show
they were so ahead of their time
hello tumblr i came here from twitter, i won’t be active on here as much but thought i’d just drop in 🚶♂️
I was reading one of my childhood diaries the other day and there was a whole paragraph saying how hopeful I was that my writing will help the archeologists in the far future. Then it proceeded to describe my lunch that day and how my dog was probably secretly able to talk.
there is a fucking statue of a kid who lived sometime in the 1200s, around 800 fucking years ago, because we have pieces of his homework that he doodled on while learning how to write. this is one of his drawings:
when I was googling him (because I couldn't remember his name), I stumbled across this twitter thread about him, which includes a different doodle by an italian boy in the 1400s of knights besieging a castle:
ALL WE KNOW OF THESE KIDS IS STUFF THEY DREW WHILE THEY WERE BORED AND IT'S STILL HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT.
ONFIM ONFIM CHILD HERO OF DOODLING IN YOUR MARGINS ONFIM

“he’s a murderer!” “he’s a monster!” he’s perfect.
So like genuine question, but is Nimona god? Or like a god?
- She basically can’t get hurt
- Is like 1000 years old
- Shape shifting
Oh and what else? Oh yeah-
- COMES BACK FROM THE FUCKING DEAD
also before reblogging every kind of content:
Little kids. They grow up believing that they can be a hero if they drive a sword into the heart of anything different. And I'm the monster? I don't know what's scarier. The fact that everyone in this kingdom wants to run a sword through my heart… or that sometimes I just wanna let 'em.
just finished Nimona… DAMN does it feel good to watch such an openly queer movie man
Ballister’s character is SO compelling in the movie. Like even though he’s been hurt by the institute, even though the institute cost him his arm, drove a wedge between him and Ambrosius, and is literally throwing him away like trash, he still believes in it. He still tries to reason with it, blaming the director and ignoring the systematic problems that are causing everything. He justifies his ARM BEING CUT OFF because that was just how they were trained. He would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed. They were so incredibly brainwashed and it was so interesting seeing both Ballister and Ambrosius come to the realization differently. AND the fact that they ended the movie by not only defeating the director but throwing the whole institution away was so powerful. It’s not enough to get rid of one bad apple when the whole orchard is rotting from the inside. So good.
she defaults back to her child form when she feels helpless she thinks she's still the same as she was all those years ago i am on the floor crying rn
I am very excited to see the Nimona film and I cannot wait to see the utter chaos that will be brought onto the big screen.
I believe this is the start of a trend of what kind of Netflix movies I really like:
