Warsan Shire, from “Backwards”, Bless the Daughter Raised by a Voice in Her Head
Blythe Baird, from If My Body Could Speak; “Theories about the universe”
[Text ID: “When I want something / with my whole being, and the universe withholds it / from me, I hope the universe thinks to herself, / Silly girl. She thinks this is what she wants, / but she does not understand how it will hurt.”]
― Salma Deera, Letters From Medea
[text ID: The centre of every poem is this: / I have loved you. / I have had to deal with that.]
You are the glitch in the matrix. You are the one responsible for healing your lineage and your ancestral trauma. You are pure light. You are pure love energy. And you know this. Somewhere, deep inside, you know this. There’s a part of you that knows how great you are. There’s a part of you that knows you incarnated here with a divine, unique purpose. There’s a part of you that wants more from life. There’s a part of you telling you that you can be more and do more.
Connect to this part of you, because the more you do this, the more magical your life becomes. Live your life intentionally. There’s so much more you can attract. There’s so much more you can manifest when you align your energy. So practice this divine alignment. Practice mindfulness. Shift your frequency. Allow yourself to become an energetic blueprint for everything you want to experience. Be this energy. Be this pure love. Be this pure happiness. Be this pure joy.

Blythe Baird, from If My Body Could Speak; “Eat”
[Text ID: “I am trying to stop doing / things that don’t make any sense. Body, / forgive me. I am trying. I am trying. I am still trying.]
