Question: do you dislike lumity? If yea why? (It's 100 % ok if you don't I just wanna hear your reasons)

Well, I have pretty much reasons and actually always wanted to tell them someone, so I'm glad you asked that. Also I should warn you that that's just my opinion, Im not gonna convince anyone in it and Im not gonna argue with anyone.
First of all, to me it's just boring and uninteresting. Lumity is basicly typical "high school love" trope, like Adrinette, Robstar and any romantic anime. Yeah, it's cute, but I don't find this trope interesting at all, especially when there are could be so interesting tropes like enemies to lovers (Lunter), ex-friends to lovers (Amillow) and exes/one sided (Boschmity). Also Willuz, but I'm not the biggest fan of friends to lovers too tho.
Secondly, I basicly just don't believe in it. I don't believe in their "true love". Especially from Luz's side. While Amity's reason to fall in love with Luz is obviously and we saw enough scenes show she truly loves her girlfriend, Luz never showed us any real reasons to fall in love with Amity except that Amity is cool and that's just isn't enough for true love, only for crush may be. Sorry, but to me it seems like Luz dates Amity just bc "why not?", cause Amity is cool, smart and strong and Luz romantizates it, not bc she has some true feelings for her. I actually don't really think their relationship could endure longer than a year, cause Amity is the only one who trying to keep it and be a good girlfriend, while Luz lies to Amity, doesn't trust her and spends her time with Hunter better, cause when she spends time with Amity, the only things they do are discussing Azura and calling each other embarrassing cute words. Sometimes I even see it like Luz is getting annoyed by Amity (Kinda reminds me Rick and Lori from twd tho, but I hate Rick/Lori more). That looks just so forced and I just feel bad for both Luz and Amity in these relationship.Anyways, I don't claim it to be true or canon, but I've been in both situations and see their relationship so and not gonna change my mind.
Thirdly, I just think the ship itself is bad written. Like I said, Luz's crush on Amity wasn't developed. Till s2ep2 Amity was just a friend to Luz, she didn't even know Amity likes her. And then in s2ep2 she suddenly fell in love with her without any reason (litteraly just bc Amity saved her, but that's not even a normal reason, Hunter has saved Luz multipe times, Willow too) and after that started to act like she was in love with her all these months. It just looks stupid. Amity's crush on Luz was kinda sudden too, but it was much better and at least got a development. But unfortunetly, after the prom episode, Amity started to act too weird, I mean these embarrassing blushes and etc. But I think her part wasn't as bad as Luz's one.
Fourth is that, yeah, everyone is gonna kill me for that, but Amity just lost her whole chatacter and became just "Luz's gf". I'm not gonna describe it much for now, but I think I should write a post about that in the future.
Fifth, let's be fair, L*mity, just like H*ntlow, are basicly just stealing the time Dana could spend for more important things. Romantic (especially wgwn it's so many) isn't necessary for the show and plot, antagonists, lore and chatacters are. So why would anyone give so many screen time to romantic stuff, when the show is already canceled and there is litteraly a huge lack of screen time? Like, again, if L*mity was at least metter for the plot, it would be fine, but it's completely pointless, it doesnt effect on the plot or on Luz (yeah, it effects on Amity, but she isn't even metter for the plot). That's actually a point for a another post, but there are litteraly 2 episodes left and we still don't know a thing about Titans, Collector, Basilisks and a lot of other lore and plot thins. Even Caleb, Philip and Evelyn's story isn't revealed enough. But instead of revealing these important things, Dana decided to waste a screen time on fucking ships and that's so stupid that I don't even know what to say. Let's be honest, basicly the only point of L*mity is being wlw rep and that's all, but I'll be fair too, L*mity already has more than H*ntlow's, be cause H*ntlow doesn't even represent anything, it's just absolutely pointless.
Well, think that's all for now. In addiction I should say that I don't consider myself as a L*mity hater or anti. I'm realy neutral to it, untill someone don't ask my opinion or untill L*mity fans don't attack me.
