hi!! i use topaz labs to smooth things up, i also play with curves to lighten the grey screentones. but certain screentones you can't remove (like dots..etc) so yeah I manually remove them either erasing or painting over it.
I don't use any extra textures besides the ones already in photoshop, the main one I use is noise and halftone!

vanessaaaaa!!! lately i've been trying to experiment more with colors while coloring panels but i get very discouraged/i start second thinking the choices? i want to step out of the palette i stick to but doing so is very nerve wracking since i'm not an artistic person & have zero idea about color combos & what works. could you pls give me a couple of tips on as to how to go about it?
AAA DRAKE ;w; bro i feel u like ngl I use the same 2 palettes as well lmao but if you want to try something diff honestly i recommend colour picking from an artist/mangaka you like! I think that helps...!
