I’m so happy with the new OVA that I can’t wait for the next one! I want to know your opinions on it, so we can discuss
After i watched the movie, i was a total mess. Those Takeru x Patamon moments hit me somewhere deep inside me. After the first 2 movies we already know that the producers are great in character development, but after kokuhaku they reached a new level (i know we are totally biased when it comes to Digimon, but even in comparison with contemporary animes, they r making a fantastic job)
These scenes ,where the Digimon spent their day with their partners and said silently goodbye, were amazing. In my opinion those were the strongest scenes so far in Tri considering feelings and character development. It’s like you’re standing between seperation and “ happy-everyday-way of life” and you can’t choose. Seriously this nearly brought me to tears….
And there were so much more remarkable scenes, like Sora (finally) calling herself “Mom” ( she got a lot of good screen time in this movie) and Yamato’s tsundere moments with Tai and of course Mimi calling him a “tsundere”. XD
And so much more thing to discuss :). I’m glad you enjoyed the movie and i hope we get a chance to dicuss Tri.
Idea, Demiurge and now Homeostasis - the creation and functioning structure of Digimon Adventure Tri is surpring and fascinating: I wonder how everything is connected?

The reunion in the Digital World - It was different than the way i would have imagined a first encounter in the DigiWorld in Tri. It was heartbreaking, beautiful and overwhelming at once!
Honestly, i think this is the biggest question we have to answer in order to solve the mystery about Tri. What is Gennai doing here? Is he really collaborating with the “evil one” (you know who i’m talking about).
Gennai used to be the incarnation of good in Adventure and 02 and helped the Digidestines as a guide and as a mentor in fighting the forces threatening the Digiworld. We also know as a fact that he and his comrades were the responsible ones choosing the partner Digimons and creating the crests. He was also in charge of the invention of DNA Evolution in 02.
At the moment i’m working on a theory, how everything might work together. However, i’m curious if you have some ideas and possible answers.
Again, why is someone, who was the biggest supporter for the Digidestined in the past, working with a human, Himekawa Maki and avoiding the contact to the Chosen Children and is even deceiving them ?
Although we don’t have a clue yet for Himekawa’s evil smile in Chapter 2 (Ketsui) and Chapter 3 (Kokuhaku), it is sure to say that she knows more than she pretends to know. Therefore it makes Gennai’s behaviour even more suspicious and how are both even connected to each other.

It’s finally happening! Jou is smiling in Kokuhaku/Confession after his emotional struggle in the second part.
Kouji Wada passed away....
Kouji Wada’s sudden death was a great shock to me. He was truly the one and only #VoiceofDigimon. I can’t imagine Digimon without him.
His songs were the soul of each Digimon season. When i watched the first chapter of Digimon Adventure Tri, i cound’t put away my enormous grin during the opening. So much memories and feelings in one song. Only Kouji Wada could create such a feeling.
My thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends. His death is a great loss.
Thank you for playing such a great part in my childhood. Thank you for your voice, your work and your smile. Thank you for being the Voice of Digimon. We will miss you!
I hope, you will become a happy butterfly! And i hope you will ride on the glittering wind!
Some thoughts about ketsui and the third movie
Because of the short mini teaser at the end of the trailer for ketsui, we did already know that Takeru will be a protagonists in the upcoming thrird movie. But his companionship with Koushiro came unexpected. I thought he could never be seperated from Hikari.
However, it’s an interesting initial position for Kokuhaku/Confession. And it also means that Sora and Hikari will build a pair for the fourth movie.
Another thing that should be mentioned: While Koushiro has HerculesKabuterimon (mega evolution of Tentomon) on the artwork, Patamon is still a rookie. This fact in combination with Patamon’s last words in the teaser are not really a promising sign.
In Ketsui there was a lot of slice of life elements with a lot of enjoyable goofiness and fun service due to Mimi. But with Leomon’s death and Meicoomon going berserk we have reached a turning point. I guess from now one things are going to become darker and darker.
Ketsui was like a limited period of calm before the real bad suff happens.
Throughout the second movie i expected Leomon to die (because that’s common tradition in Digimon Adventure), but he survived. However, right at the moment where i thought we could have a happy ending for him, cute-neko-kohai Meicoomon-CHAN ………………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………… killed…… no that’s not enough. …………massacred him!!!!!!!!
Everyone expected Leomon to die and also many people had the feeling that something was odd with Meicoomon, but the timing was absolutely unpredictable!
