🛰️Welcome to my Blog🛰️

⭐️I guess I should introduce myself so Hello there⭐️

🚀•I will attempt to summarise myself as fast as possible. My name is -redacted- but I go by she/they pronouns, or anything I don’t really mind. I’m a 19 year old who loves science (especially physics) and Mathematics. I work as a teaching assistant and I just have this huge love of learning. Also I will talk to anyone and everyone about fantasy stories, especially Lord of the rings so you have been warned•🚀

🛸•The main focus of my blog is writing about the people in stem who are not really spoken about in a class room environment. There’s so many brilliant minds who go unheard of and are under appreciated. However I will not be posting as much as I would like due to the fact I am re taking some exams and working full time•🛸

TERFS, Bigots, Racists and any other type of asshole don’t bother interacting, you’re not welcome here

Young Carers - Making Memories Programme

  • My Time is a wonderful organisation that has changed my life in a lot of ways, I got support with abuse, work, mental health and I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have without their support. I joined the programme at a very low point in my life and they supported and cared more about me than any other adult in my life ever did.
  • But they are underfunded as most charities are however they have a chance to get £70,000 which will go towards helping kids and teenagers who haven’t been able to have the easiest childhood have some wonderful experiences. I have made so many great friendships and I met my partner through them too. I know actually having the chance to talk to people about the stress and neglect being a young carer can cause really helped me, I felt less alone and isolated.
  • I can’t express how much they have helped me and how much they have change my life and I think it’s so important they’re able to help other kids and teenagers too. They’re there for us and in my and my friends experiences they actually care, we can talk to them about anything and it genuinely feels like a family.

The organisation that wins is based off of how many votes they get so it would mean a lot if this was shared and voted for

I realize this is an animal crossing meme but as an astrophysicist I was really excited for a second that someone was finally seeing the light on how fricking difficult and a huge waste of time it would be to try to terraform Mars

Why is my YouTube shorts full of 8 year olds and the song sippy cup saying there’s only 2 genders and abortion is murder….. no matter how many times I click don’t recommend this channel it’s all YouTube wants to recommend

I don’t even care about their opinion because I’ve said before that kids are shown the most ignorant shit by tiktok non stop all the time but I still don’t want to see it, just give me my space and dog videos back

Ok I'm stuck on another problem. I tried to use weighted power mean inequality but it ended up having a factor of 1/√2 on the right hand side which idk how to get rid of (tried several different methods that also gave that thing). lagrange multipliers for this would be nasty so I started and quit. umm I'm guessing it shouldn't be this hard since it's the first problem in the section and those are generally easy. maybe 1/2 and 1/2 is the wrong coefficients to use.

am kind of getting tired of inequalities already 😭

I hate that I can’t look up anything about exercise and healthy eating without being shown a billion weight loss products that won’t work and coming across so many things which would just trigger some form of ED.

As someone who has recovered from two different EDs I just want to start looking after myself but the internet makes it so difficult to access certain information, I want to avoid disordered eating and over exercising, I don’t want to obsess over how I look and a scale, I just want to feel comfortable and happy.

Just want to say Good luck to the classes of 2023 starting their GCSEs this Monday!!

It’s been a weird few years and no one seems to be talking about how covid still massively impacted your learning but you all persevered and before you know it it will all be over.

It’s a stressful time so please make sure you’re getting enough sleep, eating and drinking enough water, you need to look after your brain 💙

If you need anyone to talk to/vent to I’m happy to listen and if you need any last minute support with maths or physics just ask :)
