If you had shown me this site in 2005 I would have asked you if had checked your virus software lately, because this looks like a bad one. I would have clicked away so fast it would give you whiplash. Looking at these sites now, I have to convince myself that they aren’t virus laden sites and fight against the pavlovian urge to just navigate away.

I navigate away anyways because fuck them, there’s usually a better site (though they are dwindling quickly). I still can’t get over how the internet “as intended” today looks like a malware ridden fever dream from 20 years ago. When I went a few years ago, they were located in what was presumably supposed to be space for a parking lot security office. The rooms' walls were made of fiberboard and the lights were dimmed for what I can only assume was to save on power. There are just short of a million people on this island, and despite being one of the most consistently progressive states with a repeatedly pro-queer attitude, many of us depend on the Lavender Clinic because we have nowhere else to go. Please consider throwing a few bucks their way – it's not like we can just drive somewhere else to get care.

Okay so, much like tiktok, the search tab has been entirely consumed by what is now the video/livestream tab (fuckin ew). Can’t tell if this’ll turn out like the group chat feature and have so few people use it that it gets deleted, or if it’ll be the Blaze feature where we all abuse the fuck out of it for laughs while inadvertently making them money and driving efforts in the wrong direction- effectively making the app worse despite taking the piss out of it.
