ok so i’ve reading smoke and signals and just wanted to say that the archer by taylor swift reminds me so much of ur protagonist

Oh my gosh, you're so right! It's been ages since I heard that song but I looked up the lyrics and each verse has something that can link to some point in the story. Thank you so much for sharing!!

im reading your fanfic on ao3 rn ((incredible doesn't even begin to cut it) but i just had to ask, do u have a background in STEM or something because your detailed explanations are amazing

Hi there! I’m so glad people are reading the story after all this time! And yes, I do! I served as a sign language interpreter for a few years before I lost my own hearing and most of my work was in the science and engineering department at a local college, so I was exposed to every kind of science, math, and engineering courses on the planet! Thanks so much for asking!!

I know I'm about 5 years late but I just wanna say I love reading SaSS. The plot is so well written and the decisions of the characters make sense(to me at least). I'm still reading through a glow in the dawn but am both sad and excited to see the ending of the story. Also you really tugged my heart in both directions with Poe and Kylo!! When stuff started happening with the huxter I can't tell if it was creeper knowing that it was snoke or not hehe

Awww thank you so much!! You’re never too late!! I’m so glad people are still able to enjoy the story after everything that went down with the sequel trilogy!! I really hope that you like the ending! I think that pulling our dear Reader between Poe and Kylo was literally the most controversial decision I’ve ever made in my life, but hopefully, you like how the story ends!! Again, thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed the story, like it’s amazing to see people still reading it and enjoying it all these years later!! ^_^

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - New Classic or Epic Misfire? Panel Discussion

Star Wars: The Last Jedi – New Classic or Epic Misfire? Panel Discussion

If you still can’t get over how bad Star Wars: The Last Jedi is, neither can we! Recently, our very own Chief in Editor Krasava participated in an in-depth panel discussion with author and sci-fi commentator Dr. Leah Scade and host and author Russ Colcamiro to discuss the most controversial movie in the Skywalker saga. Take another look at her article, Why The Last Jedi Isn’t Just Bad: It’s…

I did a thing!

Happy Star Wars Day! I have completed recording Part 1 of the Signs and Smoke Signals Trilogy, A Flare in the Dark, and I'm a few chapters into A Candle in the Night. Now you can listen to your favorite fanfic instead of reading along during your morning commute (just use headphones if you're in public!) May the 4th be with you!

“Most people say that "The Last Jedi" is full of s--t, and the last Jedi herself, Daisy Ridley, might agree.”

“Ridley, 28, seemed to flush her chances of winning down the toilet. Literally.”

“Celebrity judge Paul Hollywood was a bit put off by the chunks in her toilet, but compared to the chunks one usually finds in a toilet, these were fortunately made from underbaked flour.”

THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!

Honestly, Gina Carano’s statements about how Disney was “head-hunting” her sounds like just another conspiracy theory that she believes in...along with her claims of election fraud and her post about how Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.

What should be more concerning right now is how she’s lauding Ben Shapiro for hiring her when his first film partnered with someone who was arrested for allegedly raping a minor, and then put him in charge of a bunch of minors, and their paychecks. This whole thing has yikes written all over it.

Here is a complete list of all of the Buffy actors and actresses that have spoken out in support of Charisma Carpenter/shared their own experiences. I can honestly say I’m shocked to hear what Emma Caulfield went through filming “The Body” and I’m never going to be able to watch that Anya scene the same way again.

As the Czech descendent of a Holocaust survivor, I can't be alone in thinking that it's not enough to fire Gina Carano without educating her as to WHY what she said was wrong. But what is the correct platform to do it? How do we start that conversation, not just with her, but with everyone who holds extremist, intolerant views? That’s the question.

It’s so heartbreaking that so many actors and actresses from my favorite TV shows and movies have endured such horrific abuse and discrimination, but if their characters can inspire us, then hopefully their strength now can do the same.
