grian has whatever the equivalent of a black thumb for redstone is. the opposite of that effect where you take your broken computer to the IT department and it mysteriously starts working again. he walks into the room and, just trying to be a normal user, causes everything to fuck up spectacularly. i love him. i swear every day that joke i wrote in season eight about making a tower of buttons for him to break so he doesn't interfere in normal redstoning becomes closer to a reality,

I love art it's like: have a cool idea 😊 -> find a reference -> they all suck but try and use a reference anyway 💥-> the anatomy is wrong (it's been an hour at this point) 💥-> give up on using a reference and free-draw 😊 -> take another hour to figure out how this angle works -> slap some colours down 😊-> shit these colours are weird but we can fix this -> adjustment layer -> figure out the background 💥 -> adjustment layer -> another adjustment layer -> TWO HOURS OF PAINTING HELL💥 -> an hour of fixing details -> flip canvas -> Immediately Un-flip Canvas -> adjustment layer -> having fun with more details 😊 -> i really like this!!! 😊 ->💥ten mistakes spotted💥

in the spirit of april fool's day, may I suggest my favorite benevolent prank? dnd surprise parties.

step 1: pick a friend who's having a birthday or some other special day coming up or just needs a pick me up. this is the target friend of your party.

step 2: obtain a quorum™ of you and the target friend's mutual friends. this is your dnd party, and who you will be scheming with to surprise target friend.

step 3: plan a DnD or other ttrpg one shot that's targeted at the target friend (making it take place in the setting of a piece of media they like is usually a solid method but do whatever you think they'll like).

step 4: select a venue and make a plan to get them there without them knowing the true purpose. this works like any other surprise party. this step is even funnier if you know someone that target friend lives with and can devise a plan to host the party in their own home by having someone take them out to lunch or something and setting up while they're gone (only if you know for sure they would be ok with this of course).

step 5: surprise target friend with a ttrpg one shot tailored to their interests! and preferably some tasty snacks as well!

it's not foolproof, obviously- some people just don't like surprises, and that's okay! i just thought it might be useful for some of the nerds in my laptop haha
