Hey. What’s the deal with Henry’s girlfriend? I see on a few blogs that people don’t like her but why?

Well, to explain that I should take you to the beginning - It's going to be a bit long but, that's the only way I can explain things.

April, 2021. Henry was spotted walking with a mystery woman at the park close to his mews. This was odd because, as fans must know, he was in an unofficial relationship with a woman named Freni, whom he took to the premiere of Witcher season 1 until. Then, in February 2020 he said he was single. Almost 2 months later, production for season 2 of The Witcher started and, less than a month later, production shut down due to Covid-19 lock-down. They went back to filming a few months later, working, allegedly, under the strict protocol to prevent the spreading of the virus.

Filming ended in March 2021 - for context, it's important to remember that covid was still a big deal at the moment and lockdowns continued. Around a week after he finished filming the season, he was spotted walking with his new mystery lady. Again, this made fans suspicious because we know he spent lockdown on his rental home he was using during filming and that he was supposed to be in quarantine. So, how and when did he meet that woman? Did he break covid protocols? It did not help the fact that Henry himself told in an interview a few months later that his privacy is important to him; so why would he allow to be seen with a woman he just started to date, if that was the case. If not, again, when did he meet her?

Around 10 days after he was spotted by paparazzi, he started to follow this woman on Instagram and posted a, clearly staged photo, of them, giving her name. Again, it's important to remind you that privacy was important for him; he never followed a girlfriend in the past on his social media -as far as I know; he doesn't follow his own family and personal friends, he only follows public people or private accounts related to work. So, why a man that knows a part of his fandom has always been aggressive towards his girlfriends would not only follow her but, also made a public post giving her name? -or more recently, give in interviews her name and last name?.

She also posted the same photo as him, directing attention to her instead of going private.

To that point, I was ok with her. Was I jealous? Sure. Did I hate her guts? No, absolutely not.

For me, the first strike came days later after they went public. Not only we found out that a woman from America -who for the posts on her Instagram, was in California not long before they were seen in London, flew to the U.K. in the middle of a pandemic but also she requested her account to be verified; she wasn't a celebrity or public figure, she was just an executive for a producing company, so why the hell did she need to verify her account? "To avoid people stealing her identity" I heard some of her fans say but that's pointless because 1) Henry followed her and 2) even he gets people pretending to be him, so what's the point?. She even started to share fanart from fans, proving she liked the attention she was receiving.

Strike number 2 was when I learnt that, contrary to what magazines and online news sites were saying, she was not the Vicepresident of Legendary productions, that she was just an executive because a woman named Jennifer Breslow is the actual VP of television for Legendary. And, Natalie never bothered to clarify this, not even in her own newly verified Instagram account.

Strike number 3, the biggest one, came when an old photo of her resurfaced online, where it was visible that Natalie was doing a sort of blackface - the paint wasn't on her face but on her body, and she was holding a water bottle as if she was promoting a product and her friend wrote on his page something like "Natalie trying to promote clean water for the people of Africa". I'm paraphrasing, it was absolutely awful the comment and photo. Natalie remained silent about this until Daily Mail called her and she made the excuse that the tribe painted her as an introduction -which is questionable because I've searched online and I saw people in Namibia, who weren't painted like her; also, she basically said "sorry if it bothers someone" instead of "sorry for doing something awful" or "I promise I'll try to do better".

Then, there's strike number 4, which is the tags. Now her tags are open but, back at the start, she closed her tags and only the tags she manually accepted appeared in her tag section. Of course, she only accepted the nice tags and even tags from her fans mocking his fans, calling her a "winner" -my point is why accept tags at all, just hid them.

Then, another unforgivable strike: she posted the cover of The Hollywood Reporter magazine that it was about him, even before he did! She brought all the attention to her, how proud she was, that she could cry, etc. But, again, she did it before he even got the chance to post it.

Since the relationship was public, she's been constantly doing things to connect her with him: Kal and her dog at the rental, stories about her being a fan of rugby, or her being in the UK, etc. This year she got to go to a premiere with him and then posted it the day of the movie released, making all about her and her former company Legendary; she never said "Enola Holmes 2 is out. It's great, go watch it!" she only posted about how great it was to be at the red carpet for a movie produced by her former company.

I can stress enough how Henry felt that privacy was important for him - watch this interview at the marked time 05:39' (X)

This entire relationship seems off. Henry doesn't act like himself, he's public about things he's usually private about but then complains about fans speculating too much about his personal life, and then he's back to being way too public with his personal life.

She appeared in the U.K in the middle of a pandemic and, she seems to or at least she tries to make it look as if she was living with him there when she has a LA-based job. He used to be private but gives us glimpses of his life and things he cared about, without being too revealing, like hobbies, photos of Kal, training stuff or bts of work. Now it's only trailers and posters for his shows, ads for products or things that used to be too private, like her dog.

Last but not least, she once was part of a show called My Super Sweet 16 and she wasn't very nice; she acted bratty and entitled. Also, she was clearly seeking attention and spotlight. I'd normally don't hold accountable someone for the behaviour they have when they were kids or teens if they clearly changed but, for the looks of it, for the tag thing, the constant posting things related to her famous boyfriend and her requesting a verified account, it's clear she hasn't changed that much.

Probably if I had more time to think, there were more things that would come to mind because I know she's done things that bothered me but this is what I remember at this moment.

Anyone can have their own opinions on the matter but, I have mine and I don't see myself ever changing my mind about this woman. If Henry decides to keep dating her, he's free to do so but, I'm free to hate her as much as I do- I mean, no one would expect me to like a friend's boyfriend that I know is an asshole because I'd be a bad friend, so why do fans who hate this woman because we feel she's using him for fame, get the label of bad fans because we refuse to accept her?

☝🏻

That's what Henry has dream of all his life, a love so pure, a relationship so private that her friends can wait to run and tell magazines how in love they are.

Henry truly won the lottery with her, didn't he?

I fully understood the meaning of enlightenment.

She is doing everything he said he would never allow, how sad.

Alright, now here comes the other part of my thoughts.

I'm surprised on how much the fandom has changed. We used to have our inside drama but, I've never imagined fans would turn on Henry this much - I cannot blame them, I turned on him for a moment back at the start of the year after the "let's pretend I don't have a girlfriend for the promotion of my show" to then soon after, Mr. Private to post about her and let her post about him.

Now, I'm feeling better about the situation and I'm back on my deep love for the guy - I mean, my love for Henry never left but, I was too upset to be in the fandom and continue to post, to create content of him.

One thing it hasn't changed, it actually intensified, is my hate for his girlfriend. I truly cannot stand her, not even just a little bit. I see her and I feel a raging fire inside. I cannot stand how this woman, who nobody knew or was relevant enough to have a verified account, is now a pseudo-influencer. She goes to red carpets with him, has a verified account with 121 thousand followers ... and all because she's dating Henry - that's the truth and you know it; without Henry, she'd continue to be just another executive in the industry who's name nobody knows but the people who work with her. The worst part is that she clearly loves the attention. Since she became the public girlfriend of Henry, all her social media is about him; even worse, it's about Henry's career or living a fancy life with him. Except for the Kal/Meat photo, the rest of her photos are of him on the set of The Witcher, of him on the cover of a big magazine; she posted stories of him being Superman and living the hot fancy life of being a Hollywood star's girlfriend. Yesterday, she posted about Enola Holmes and instead of posting the poster or stills from the movie, recommending it to her followers and explaining why they should watch it, she made it all about herself, being with him on the red carpet, wearing a fancy dress and having a team to help her get ready for photo time -it really makes my blood boil to see that.

What's more upsetting about the situation is seeing his fans kiss her ass and throw flowers at her in her comments - I'm not talking about those fakes that appear on Instagram after the chess photo, who insults or throw hate at anyone who dares to say anything negative about her and even made their accounts dedicated to her; I'm talking about the true Henry fans out there who adored him for real and go and praise someone who's clearly taking advantage of him for her own gain. It saddens me to see it and contributes to my dislike for her to grow.

Call me a hater, a bad fan, a "troll", a bad fan, I really don't care, I just feel that way and I really hope Henry opens his eyes eventually and let her go and finds someone worthy of him.
