I've made the Jughead hat and getting ready to sew it, the pattern says to add stitches? Do I just pick up stitches 1 inch apart and pull to tighten to make the top?
I really should update the pattern to add the diagram :,D

I was diagnosed with a hypermobility disorder last year and knitting became extremely difficult and painful to do. I kind of gave up on knitting because my shoulders kept popping out of place every time I tried.
I miss it though. I’ve been strength training for a few months and I’m slowly getting back into knitting. I’ll try to revisit the pattern when I get comfortable with big projects again.

My grandma asked if I could sew a frog on one of her sun hats.
I don’t have a good pic of me actually using them but I knit some armbands for my forearm crutches so I wouldn’t accidentally drop them when I went to a concert last month.
I also sewed the pouch hooked around one of the handles but it didn’t turn out that good.
My chronic pain wasn’t too bad today so I made a sweater for my frog. 🐸
