He pleaded not guilty but hopefully he’s found guilty this time
Yeah, he can plead however he wants, and no one expected him to plead any differently. That doesn't mean he got away with it. That's like Step 1 in 50+ Step trial.
TRump really truly does get away with everything it’s revolting I for sure thought this was gonna be the time when he found guilty .
Wait, what? This was an indictment, not a trial. No one has ruled on anything yet. Am I missing something?
And the “wokeness” conservatives foam at the mouth about most of the time is just Hollywood doing the bare minimum and while there are individual actors and filmmakers who are progressive like Mark Ruffalo and Patricia Arquette, I’d argue that 85% of the celebs who get blasted on Fox News for being “Hollywood elites” are a lot less liberal than they’d have you believe.
They are not blasting the "liberal." What they see as liberal is basic human decency. It's anathema to them.
No one working in Hollywood needs to be liberal. No one needs to have a defined political ideology that they must present constantly like a passport at a check-point. If Mark Ruffalo feels compelled to dedicate the time and an established enough name to a cause, good for him and good for the cause. Not everyone can, though. Some people do have strong political and social stances and they also have resources to back those up. But it's not an obligation and it's not a job requirement.
Being a decent human being is all that's under social contract. And that includes not being a reactionary blowhard that makes it harder for minority costars or crew, or mouths off on Joe Rogan, or breaks picket lines, etc.
FoxNews is garbage, but they are very capable of convincing some people that a working actor who has to hassle is "liberal elite," but a treasonous billionaire who hasn't paid a dime in taxes in a decade is a dear friend of the working classes.

oh man i never told you. recently we went to the albertina art gallery and in the contemporary wing we saw this painting, “nacht der skorpione”
and we were fucking blown away by it, like audible gasping from everyone, it’s almost as tall as the room and incredibly expressive and impressive
and after having walked around looking at the work of 99% male artists and their endless studies dedicated to The Female Form for so goddamn long my very first thought upon seeing it was “this was painted by a woman”, so i walk closer and sure enough, i was right, her name is xenia hausner.
and then i look at it for a moment longer and my chest swells because these are intense characters with internal lives and that is what makes them attractive and my second thought is “this was not painted by a straight woman”
and i mean i can’t say anything for sure but i looked her up and
and nobody else picked up on this in the original painting? when i told them they were like “what, why, because of the masculine (???) brush strokes”? they were not shaken to their very core by the authenticity of it? what i’m trying to say is gaydar is extremely real and straight people extremely do not have it.
i found another one and i’m about to spend the rest of my evening staring at this painting
this is her btw
How much time do you spend on Tumblr everyday?
come back with a warrant
RIVERDALE (2017 - 2023) Season 7, Episode 11: Chapter One Hundred and Twenty Eight “Halloween II”
RIVERDALE | 4x04 Chapter Sixty-One: Halloween
It’s interesting cause I’m currently reading Elliot Page’s memoir and people think of Hollywood in a general term as this ultra liberal place but the picture he paints of it is like it’s still stuck in 1953 for the most part.
I honestly don't know anyone who really thinks of Hollywood as ultraliberal. It’s an accusation thrown at it by uber-conservatives foaming-at-the-mouth over what they consider film industry's current "wokeness." But that's not the reality. While there have always been progressive and liberal individual actors and filmmakers, Hollywood as a whole has nevere been, and isn't now, considered ultraliberal.
But when an actor starts to become so conservative that not even his costars will defend them like Chris Pratt that’s when Hollywood closes doors.
Does it?
"Hollywood" is kind of an umbrella term for a lot of decision-making entities. Not to be cynical, but in many cases it comes down to money. They will close doors on someone if that someone is low- or middle-rung money-maker. If it's a cash cow? Not unless that someone has done something even they can't find a PR work-around for.
Chris Pratt makes money for them, so he can dance close to whatever line. What's His Name we are talking about? For all his more or less visible roles, he is not a household name and he does not bring asses to the theater seats as much. So, sure, they may kick him. If they are pressured enough and it becomes a nuisance.
I mean, who knows, but that's how it's been for a while. Unfortunately.
James Gunn was nearly fired from Marvel due to those old jokes the alt right dug up where they claimed it was proof that he was a pedophile and tried to pressure Disney into firing him.
I guess? I honestly don't have enough data to draw any conclusions either way.
Since the highway exploded, here's your annual reminder that in New Jersey there is a lovely high-speed train with stops for you to get on instead of driving.
wait the highway EXPLODED? what the fuck is going on in Jersey bruh
It might have been in Pennsylvania, I am not entirely sure
I-95 North in Philly.
PennDOT closed Southbound too because it's "structurally unstable." Think it was a tanker that exploded in the underpass of I-95 North?
Unstable is an understatement
That's Northbound. Southbound is still standing
But with a small monthly donation, you too can help to change that
If you haven’t caught the news, there was a bad truck fire (they think an oil tanker) under a highway overpass and part of the highway above collapsed due to the fire damage. The overpass was closed due to the fire at the time of collapse, but this is going to be a major problem
Hey, Forsythe, I was wondering, is it common for gangs to have a writer among its ranks? I mean, I suppose a kid like you need something to call a family. After all, weren’t you just a little urchin wandering the streets after your mom ditched you and you good-for-nothing drunk of a father? And, come to think of it, isn’t your little sister a budding hooligan herself? Only thirteen-years-old, and already roped into your mom’s drug business.

Help! The Ungrateful Youths of Today Don't Appreciate the Value of Anything, and by 'Anything' I Mean the Worthless Shit I Am Trying to Sell Them
Ask A Manager, 12 May 2023:
Several years ago I was frustrated with the way people went about looking for jobs. I’m a small business owner and even before running my own company, I always networked. Through networking I’ve managed to do so much. Today I run six networking groups. Again, several years ago I created a t-shirt designed to network for you. It lists various fields, each with a checkbox by it, and comes with a small sharpie so you can check off the type of job or career you desire. By wearing the t-shirt everywhere you go, it starts the job seeking conversation. I marketed them inexpensively to college grads. I went to colleges, job fairs, and even graduations. Not one t-shirt sold. I was so angry. I was on popular talk shows and in the paper and still nothing. Today I sit with every size t-shirt in my garage. Many ask why I don’t still pursue this idea. They are the ones who got the idea and believe in it. Perhaps I was ahead of my time. I marketed towards college grads who texted as a main form of communication. However, today communication is even worse. Young adults can barely look someone in the eye. Please tell me what your opinion is of my t-shirts. I hoped people would wear them daily and maybe while filling their gas tank this would start a conversation that would change their lives forever. Networking will always be the way to get what you need. Referrals, physicians, mechanics, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, housekeepers, financial advisors, accountants, babysitters, trainers, real estate agents, tutors, and whatever I have missed. Am I wrong? Would my product help those unable to network?
There is one reason and one reason only that your revolutionary clothing business has failed to see the success it so clearly deserves: young people today are appallingly poor communicators who, for reasons that likely include video games and participation trophies, are actively unwilling to appreciate the awesome one-on-one human connections that can only be made by going about life wearing a t-shirt and hoping someone reads it and decides to enter into a business relationship as a result. Yes indeed, it is specifically and only the modern youths who have refused to purchase your t-shirts who are very, very poor at understanding how to build valuable and meaningful relationships with other humans. There is definitely not anybody else here who is bad at communicating.
Every single person on planet earth who is under the age of, say, 25, lacks the foresight and vision to appreciate the radically lucrative possibilities of wearing the same t-shirt every day every single place they go. Every single person who didn't buy one of your shirts did so because they are young and stupid and don't know a life-changing idea when they see one. But you do! Because you are old and smart, which are the same thing.
After all, you are great at networking and have managed to do incredible things as a result of your great networking skills, such as running six networking groups. If that's not proof positive that networking works, what is?
The only way to know for sure whether your shirts will help poor communicators understand exactly how bad they are at connecting with others may be to try your product out for yourself.
Have you ever watched There She Goes with David Tennant? I just started it last night and I’m loving it so far
I did. It is very good, if sometimes a bit difficult. I liked it.
