Just finished the final season of Red vs Blue. It’s interesting that it came out the same day I got my Blood Gulch Chronicles DVD’s in the mail.
I have been a wreck for the past hour. I have not stopped crying. Rooster Teeth has been an enormous part of my life. I found Red vs Blue on YouTube when I was in middle school.
I saw that company grow from 4-6 people working in a spare bedroom, to an office that used to be a Wendy’s, to a full fledged studio. Watched it grow in size, make new branches. Make new shows, start lets plays, podcasts, crowdfund a feature film!
The founders had such a large presence with their fandom. I feel like I know these people. People who I’ve seen grow, get married, have children, suffer losses, get healthy, sick, seen them at their lows and highs.
The final season of Red vs Blue was TRUELY written as a love letter to RT fans.
It was a dream of mine to work there one day. Then in 2018 I got an email from their animation production coordinator, I applied for a job drawing background art for Nomad of Nowhere. And I fucking got it. The show didn’t last long, but I’m glad I got to be part of Rooster Teeth, even a little one
Im still a wreck
Thank you Burnie, Geoff, Gus and Matt
Goodbye Red vs Blue
Goodbye Rooster Teeth ❤️💙
I’m glad you were here
