As I promised, here it is my contribution to Fluff Crawlspace this year. Thank you, @nerdforestgirl, because this is my favorite event of the year. I usually made a new entry for my shamy + sweetest moments series, but I ran out of material last year. I ended up writing a little thing. You understand, it is extremely fluffy here. What do you expect, from something off the Fluff Crawlspace? Enjoy! Happy 10th anniversary, Sheldon and Amy.

He lets her hold him for a while, his mind still fighting to move away from his current thoughts. He eventually gives up.

Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski Wolowitz. Astronaut Howard Wolowitz. And my two dearest friends in the world, Penny Hofstadter and Dr. Leonard Hofstadter. I was there the moment Leonard and Penny met. He said to me that their babies would be smart and beautiful. And now that they’re expecting.. I have no doubt that that will be the case. Howard, Bernadette, Raj, Penny, Leonard… I apologize if I haven’t been the friend you deserve. But I want you to know in my way, I love you all. [To Amy] And I love you. Thank you.

Sheldon sat in his apartment alone. Amy was out having brunch with Penny and Bernadette. They invited him along, but he still hated the idea of brunch. He had breakfast at breakfast time, and he would have lunch at lunchtime. It was as the world truly should be. Then he heard voices outside his door. He got up to investigate.

* AMY’S MENTION. I always hope for one and it got to me in such an unexpected way and ajanakansb Sheldon recalling her giving birth. I am fine. I am fine. Naaah. * AMY’S MENTION. Sorry, it deserved another point. * The explicit mention of the Hot Beverage thing. It made me emotional. * George telling his kids he is proud. Just when I thought I was full of emotions from his talk with Georgie, Adult Sheldon made that comment. Rude. * And whatever, he keeps competing for Best Dad and that’s rude. * Stop having John in pain, please and thank you. * Okay but now enough Paige, okay? Just because I felt sorry for her doesn’t mean I am any more interested. * Lately the show had such good episodes but this one got me in my guts in way I missed :’)
I know it is silly to be this excited about a single voiceover line, but the point is: I miss Sheldon and Amy so much, and I miss to know what happens in their lives. How great it is to actually get a glimpse from that future from time to time? I get to breathe before coming back underwater.
