“ KELLI CHRONICLES
As a society, until we acknowledge, diagnose, treat and manage mental illness of ourselves, loved ones and/or friends, we are accessories to the crimes committed by these individuals that suffer from undiagnosed and untreated mental illness. We have to STOP..🛑 avoiding the obvious and seek a prognosis diagnosis. Ignorance does not apply here. We must move away from the stigma that mental illness is contagious. As a society, we don't want or desire to assist those with mental illness, assuming that others will step in and step up. We don't want to acknowledge mental disease or defects until we're effected by it..... Mental illness leads to crimes against others and self. We can observe and not absorb, we can comprehend, accept, diagnose, and treat someone with mental illness without becoming mentally compromised. It's not contagious. Sanity is relative. Reality is only realized when we're bucked from our proverbial "high horse." “
