1. Each bang project has an assigned day where they submit a project masterpost to our tumblr with all links and project info. We're projecting roughly three projects submitting masterposts a day through November, December, and early January. How old did Steve think he was?

Steve had made it sound like him and Munson were toddlers who couldn’t work out their differences between themselves like adults.

It was patronising.

So what if it was true?

But yeah, okay.

Billy would show his face.

Once.

Obviously.

Not for Munson, but for Steve.

If Billy didn’t die at the end of season 3, how would this adjust the dynamics for the end of season 4? Could it enable Steddie to happen? And what then for the boys?

A re-write of the end of season 3 from an undead Billy Hargrove’s perspective, through a very different ending of season 4, and out the other side. Corroded Coffin are on tour 4 years later and band manager Steve has roped his good friend Billy who definitely DOESN’T have an awkward crush on Steve into filling in for the bassist. Steve and Eddie have a predilection for PDAs, and Billy’s life becomes woven into theirs without meaning it to be… all whilst harbouring a grim secret related to the supernatural symptoms he’s been experiencing, surely dangerous vestiges of his possession…

Alphas are always the ones who begin the courting process. They’re the ones who approach the Omega and give gifts and have to wait until they’re accepted or rejected. It’s traditional, and it’s just the way things are. Omegas never start it. They’re too likely to get ridiculed for trying to act like an Alpha, and getting roughed up by people who think it’s funny to make them prove they’re as tough as one. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get it into their head that some rules just shouldn’t be broken, even if they’re more of a guideline anyway. Any smart Omega sits back and let’s the Alpha do all the hard work.

Eddie Munson, however, is a fucking dumbass.

Once he decides to court Alpha Steve Harrington, he sets himself on a difficult path to navigate through his existing friendships and family situation. He knew it would be tough, but he finds that some things were worse than he could ever have expected. Not to mention the pack that have decided to out a target right on Eddie’s back…

Ranger Steven Harrington, a novice Jaeger pilot at the PPDC base in LA, has yet to be paired up with a co-pilot. Ranger Edward Munson, just recently transferred, has already seen his fair share of combat at the other side of the Pacific.

Despite starting off on the wrong foot, Eddie and Steve turn out to be Drift compatible. With the memory of recently losing his previous co-pilot and best friend still fresh in his mind, Eddie is far from the easiest person to establish a stable Drift with. However, Steve is determined to make it work, remaining patient and helpful with overcoming Eddie’s earlier trauma. Day after day, mission after mission, one shared memory after another, they grow closer, eventually developing feelings for each other that are becoming impossible to deny, or hide from one another; for in the Drift, there is no space for secrets.

Meanwhile, just a few floors below, in the restricted area of the base, a plan is being conceived. One that involves a young girl who can do the impossible, and might just be the only hope for humanity’s salvation… 

Eddie doesn't expect to get into trouble for his recent drug business, although he probably should have. Even less does he expect Steve Harrington of all people to save his sorry ass with a nail bat that looks awfully at home in his hands. Least of all, though, does he expect Harrington to insist on skipping town for a while to avoid the fallout. The Winter holidays of '84 seem intent on proving him wrong on all fronts. Steve and Eddie keep trying to plan the perfect date. Unfortunately, the universe has other plans and somehow it always ends up differently than they planned, but that might not be a bad thing. 5 times they plan the perfect date + 1 time they realize they don’t have to.

Eddie Munson’s social circle had never intersected with Steve Harrington’s, even though they’d been in the same high school for the last four years, but you could say the same thing for everyone who gave the school freak a wide berth. He’d been tangentially aware of the rise and fall of King Steve as much as anyone else with ears, but he’d never given him much thought other than that. He’d been more focused on his own problems, like trying to figure out how to not fail his senior year a second time.

All of that changes one night in February of ‘85, when a nasty encounter with the new popular kids leaves Eddie cursing his bad luck. But this one bad turn leads to a rapid expansion of his circle of friends. Nancy Wheeler has brains and a frightening level of focus, Jonathan Byers is hiding hidden depths beneath his quiet loner personality, and Steve…

Steve is a literal life-saver.

Eddie wants to bite him and see if there are sparks.

“We are gonna fix this, Steve,” Eddie promises.

“Fix what? Me? The unlovable child of two loveless people.”

“That’s bullshit.” Eddie spats out, and it startles Steve enough that he turns to look back at Eddie. “Not about your parents, I’m pretty sure they must be the biggest assholes on the planet, but Steve - you have to know - how can you not know?”

“Know what” Steve asks, confused. 

It makes Eddie smile bittersweetly back at him. “How much every living being in this house loves you.” Eddie makes sure to look Steve straight in the eyes as he says it, makes sure Steve knows he really means it. “If love was the answer, you would have been out of here a long time ago - this place is filled with it.”

And Eddie truly believes it, he does.

As far as anyone can remember, the woods on the west part of Hawkins are off limits. Too many stories of kids disappearing; even if when asked no one could remember exactly who those kids were.Then one day Chrissy Cunningham, Carver is all too quick to try and blame Eddie for it. So into the woods Eddie goes and finds not only Chrissy there.He finds the old forgotten Harrington house. And a secret.

What was it Robin said, about the universe? It was vast, it was probably full, and it was most likely avoiding earth? Yeah, it wasn’t avoiding earth anymore.

Steve, Robin, and Eddie get abducted by aliens after getting back from the upside down the first time. The aliens want something from Steve and make it hard for Steve to refuse. He refuses to let anyone erase any of his memories.

So now, the trio is on a spaceship for a few months, on their way to the planet that needs them.

Shenanigans ensue(also feelings, but Steve tries to ignore those, and so does Eddie).

Surprisingly, not crack.

They stare at one another for a while, heads turned towards each other as they lay sprawled out on the bed. Steve’s foot, still on the floor, taps out an agitated rhythm.

“Fine.” He eventually concedes, shoving himself up onto his elbows.

“Fine?” Eddie parrots back.

Steve shrugs. “I’ll pretend to be gay. I’ll come out to them.” Eddie’s eyes widen a bit and for a second it looks like he wants to backpedal and take back his suggestion, but Steve barrels on before he can. “But if you think I’m doing this alone you’re crazy. You’ve got to be there to tell them it was all your stupid idea of a prank if they do start to go bananas.”

Eddie props himself up on his arms as well, one eyebrow raised. He considers that for a moment, tipping his head to the side. After a good five seconds a devilish grin starts to pull at his lips. “I’ll do you one better, Harrington.” He says. “I’ll be there. And I’ll tell them it was all my dumb idea if they get crazy on you–which they won’t.” He snickers. “But…I’ll be there as your boyfriend.”

Steve and Eddie get very close after the world almost ends. Eddie makes a move and it quickly backfires when Steve pulls away. Eddie, not knowing how to deal with the rejection, runs. They live completely separate lives for years until Steve realizes maybe he’s not living the life he actually wants, and throws himself back into Eddie’s world.

Steve knew that something was stalking him out in the woods. He just never thought he would fall in love with it.

In a world where the Upside Down is hell and Henry rules his kingdom like Hades. Steve and Eddie find themselves in the roles of Orpheus and Eurydice in this mythology/Hadestown AU!
