Of course I am kind of sad about the new tumblr rules regarding the censorship of certain nsfw posts, but at the same time, I’m also a bit relieved I can open Tumblr now in public 

And, to be honest, I’m kind of tired of seeing people make comments about how shitty Tumblr is. For the so many years that I have been here, everything has been allowed. And now after something unfortunate has happened, they took off the option for it to happen again. Which I completely understand. It’s like that with most things in this life. If a certain system doesn’t seem to work, you change it. 

There are many children on this website, and so, the website has to be changed. I get it. You can say, iT’s TheE RespOnsABilITY of the PAAREENTSS but we all know that it’s one simple button you can push to turn off Safe Mode. Or go on the website sneakily anyway.

There’s other places where there are no children allowed, where nsfw images are allowed. Such as fetlife, patreon, etc. But here, there are children allowed. So the rules have to be accordingly.
