Remember that moment in ITSV, when Miles first meets his world's Spider-Man and their spider senses do the thing?

The background behind Peter is as we'd expect; the classic red and blue.

But at first Miles' background is green and purple, two colors he's never associated with at all throughout the movie. As the moment goes on, it shifts to match Peter's.

We are literally watching Miles' fate change and the anomaly happen.

It's well established that the spider that bit him was not supposed to even be in that universe, meaning our Miles was supposed to be something else before it happened.

This isn't true for ITSV, but in every other version of Spider-Man, the main color scheme for the Prowler is green and purple.

Our Miles was supposed to become the next Prowler in his world. And the only reason he's not, is because of the original Prowler. Miles switched his fate with Earth-42 Miles.

idk what traumatized or mentally ill person needs to hear this but dreams (especially the really disturbing ones you dont want to talk about to anybody) arent some deep peek into your psyche or a sign of your True Desires or whatever theyre quite literally your brain making fruit salad with whatever it can find on the shelf. just putting all that shit in a blender and hitting obliterate. its fine, youre fine, youre not a weirdo for it

Actually forget what I said. This dream is more important than anything

Major KNY spoilers below / mentions of death

Ngl I broke my own heart thinking about the consequences of unlocking your slayer mark. Like it’s very well known at this point that a slayer who unlocks their mark will not grow older than 25. The slayer mark had nothing to do with Muzan so naturally the consequences are still present after his defeat. We talk about Giyu and Sanemi succumbing to the mark all the time, especially since we know they both have roughly 4 years before their lives end.

But I don’t think we talk about Tanjiro enough when it comes to the consequences of the slayer mark. It makes me so sad to think that Nezuko only got about nine more years with her brother. After that, she’s the only surviving child from her family. She’ll have lost everyone.

Nezuko will mourn Tanjiro longer than she knew him.

To think that he has to leave his children behind too, who are likely going to be too young to really remember their father themselves. A majority of their knowledge about their father will be through the many stories from their mom, aunt and two uncles. It’s as if Tanjiro has followed in his own father’s steps.

Tanjiro will become nothing more than a memory for them.

All I can picture is Nezuko as an old lady, thinking fondly of her older brother who will forever remain young. I can’t stop thinking about how gut wrenching it must have felt for Nezuko to turn 25 herself, knowing it’s the age Tanjiro never made it past. The following year must have been even worse, having to wake up and sit there and realize you’ve now become older than your older brother. I just don’t think that’s fucking fair bro.

On a bit happier note cause I’ve made myself very sad, I’d like to think that Tanjiro had an overwhelmingly large crowd waiting for him once he passed on. His mom & dad, his little siblings, Giyu, Rengoku, Genya, the rest of the Hashira, Kagaya and Amane, that thought makes it a little more bearable tbh

How do you see the human appearance of Lansseax? After all, she was the one who started taking on a human form. Hee-hee-hee, probably because she 😏loved😏 the knights of her cult very much

So this is mostly my interpretation of how Lansseaux shows up in Vanitas - which is to say, like Fortissax, but more of a hard bitch >:)

I know the in-game lore makes her seem fairly sympathetic to human knights, but I got a kick out of reversing that dynamic and making Fortissax the more forgiving of the two for the purpose of the fic.
