I’m moving most of my personal blogging from @starryroom to @eminentsound due to the former’s being marked explicit and my total disinterest in scrolling through 800 pages of content to fix the problem.

@starryroom will remain in place as an archive until and unless it‘s deleted, although, since search is blocked on explicit blogs, I’m not sure how useful that will be.

The move to @eminentsound starts today. @sunnyroom, as my main blog, will remain an aesthetic and very occasional writing/conlang blog.

it’s fucking gross how people posit queer theory/ideology as “demanding fluidity” from gay people when it’s literally not about that. that whole rhetoric is just way to demonize queers and erase gay queers in particular. queerness is about making solidarity with other queer people regardless of the details of your presentation and orientation. it’s about keeping an open mind to what new forms of queerness may arise as sexuality and gender rules break down. that people try to turn that into something evil is fucked up and unforgivable

Full offense but people are completely alright with spending money to go to Puerto Rico and the islands for vacation/leisure and overpaying for resorts that do nothing really for the country as a whole but are hesitant to give aid in midst of a devastating natural disaster. And yall wonder why island natives hate tourism.

its been over a hundred days and more than 43% percent of Puerto Ricans still don’t have power.

I think people are too quick to invoke the concept of a “bad person”. I get so uncomfortable seeing posts about undesirable behavior include admonishments like “if you do this you’re a horrible person”. No, you’re not. You’re a person who did something wrong. No one, let alone internet strangers, is qualified to comment on your ultimate balance of good traits and bad. A person is not a single action.
