Leaving Tumblr

Hey ya’ll! I know it’s been a while since I’ve been on this site, but I think its time I officially announce that I’m leaving Tumblr. Its not for anyone one reason, but just know that I feel a lot happier now that I’ve been taking a break. I’m not deleting my account or anything, either.

I’d love to still talk with you guys and theorize about books and anime, and if you feel the same way, here are the best ways to contact me!

It is considered extremely scandalous. We see it in the book in one of the interludes of The Way of akings when Szeth’s Oathstone is held by Makkek. The serving women in the Gambling Dens are going about with finger less gloves and it seems to be just shy of seeing them naked. I believe we also see it in the less reputable war camps too.

Thoughts on the Ocean

I went to the ocean yesterday for the first time in 13 years. Here are some of my thoughts

Too big
I should be able to see the end there should be mountains on the other side of it
It’s too big and it freaks me out. I can see the horizon, unobstructed by anything. The universe is endless and the scope of it it’s too much for me to grasp
It’s salty
Pretzel water
The ocean is more powerful than man could ever hope to be. Anyone who thinks they can best it is a fool. The ocean could destroy you at anytime. It merely tolerates you
You cannot master it. You can only move with it’s flow and dance along it’s waves
I got out of the water and my sister asked me why I had blood on my legs
Turns out there was tiny little things in the water and they bit me
I have like twenty tiny little bite marks on my legs. It’s pretty sweet
The ocean will smooth all rough edges. Glass shards become pebbles, rock wears away. The sound of the waves will soothe your aching if you give them the chance
It was so cold it was freezing oh my gosh I was so cold
I walked among it’s waters for an hour and it enriched my soul. I heard the crashing and felt the swelling. The riptide pulled at me and I steeled myself against the incoming waves
I’m in love with the ocean but I’m terrified of it
