Just realized that Riko to Jean was what Neil’s father was to him. So Neil saying “Pop, and he was gone. It’s impressive,isn’t it? How easily these monsters die” reminded me of when Neil was kidnapped by his fathers people and when his uncle came to save him, he killed his father with a gun, just like that. Which was shocking because Jean and Neil probably saw their torturers as bigger than life itself.

Let’s talk about the fact that Neil Josten is so SCARY from other perspectives. From his own he’s just like,,, “i’m just a kid fucking around before i die” but from Jean’s he seems certifiably insane. I somehow like him even more now.

Every time Neil appeared all I could think about (besides screaming 'that's my boyyy') was how good Neil's gonna be as the Foxes captain
