It's pride so I wanna take a moment to give Thai bls and gls a shout-out. I feel like a lot of people give them way more shit than they deserve despite all the popularity. I personally can say that they feel super validating to me and are definitely the queer rep I've always been craving in media.
Not cause they're the perfect portrayal of the real life queer experience but because they allow me to enjoy queer love stories just like heterosexuals are allowed to enjoy their stories. They don't necessarily try to be anything but entertainment and I LOVE it so much. I love that queer characters are allowed to be imperfect and fall in love and be horny for each other without a real purpose other than to just exist in the story.
I'm forever grateful that I decided to delve into the genre after all and give it a chance.
