one issue I had with Wednesday is that yet again there was a mental health disorder compared to a monstrous/evil being. the throwaway line of ‘my mother had severe bipolar disorder’ when Tyler was trying to cover the fact he was a Hyde. I know it was a lie, but it’s still frustrating seeing mental health disorders, that are heavily stigmatised and often demonised, yet again used in relation to an evil or monstrous thing.
