am i bugging or did selena say that speaking against police brutality and unjustified killing of people is “picking sides”? wow

u bugging. she was referring to picking sides between tswift and kanye. not #blacklivesmatter

except the conversation at that point had shifted from kanye/swift, she replied directly to a question about using her platform for something that matters, something that she herself suggested. like she said the “sides” thing in response to being asked about not using her voice to speak on police brutality and BLM. she even prefaces it with “so that means if i hashtag something i save lives?”
