i cant answer every message i got but i just wanted to say thank you all for freaking out with me over this crazy moment in my life
and i also want to thank you guys for letting me geek out over the simpsons on this blog...i made it so i could have somewhere i could talk about it since my friends at the time werent into the show, so i felt very awkward. if i hadnt decided to make this blog to talk about the simpsons with you guys, i probably wouldve dropped it and we wouldnt have this couch gag now.

i got these ko-fi requests done and its really funny to me to see them side by side
since i keep getting people telling me they like my nelson/lisa stuff, heres some more old doodles from 2018 that i never shared for some reason
i always kinda liked the idea of nelson’s insecurities hitting him hard when hes around lisa, like the time he seemed baffled and skeptical after lisa told him she had a crush on him because ‘why would she like him? no girls like him’. despite his tough demeanor its been made clear many times that he has no real self-esteem and sees himself as a loser, the bad guy, and he tries to own that. and yet here is lisa, a bright overachiever, believing in him and encouraging him to be the better person she knows he can be, and she was the first one to ever do so. he really doesnt want to disappoint her so he tries really hard to be that person, but he cant help but wonder if theres any point in him doing that. i think its also likely that as he grows older and realizes he hasnt been a great person overall, he would start questioning if he really deserves someone like lisa giving him a chance. and lisa would definitely argue that yes, absolutely, shes already caught glimpses of his best self so why wouldnt she give him a chance? dumbass nelson.
