The best way to deal with any crisis, including an existential one, is...

Howd you make ur page scretchy....
PERCENTAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in CSS!
just in case you're brand spanking new: to apply css styling to html you use <div class="stylename"> in the html code like so
MEANWHILE, in the CSS code (a separate file), you give the parameters for the style you want to apply to everything between <div class="stylename"> and </div> in the html.
I am not a good coder so I'm pretty sure some of the stuff here doesn't actually do anything. lol.
Usually you're just specifying what a box will look like and how text will appear in the box. That's what everything here is doing.
My boxes are stretchy because of THIS!!!!!!!!!!
You can use pixel values (i.e. "10px") to determine how wide a box is, but there are also these dynamic alternatives!
Percentages are self explanatory: this box will take up 40% of the width of the box it is inside. The only box my description box is inside is the "body" box for the whole webpage, so it takes up at least 40% of any screen it is on.
The other unit, "em," denotes 1 unit of font size as shown on the viewing device. I wanted the description box to be a little smaller on desktop, where 20em is smaller than 40% of the screen width. On mobile, it just takes up 40% of the screen width.
I have the CSS code I cobbled together available to copy on my neocities page! Feel free to copy it into a .css file on neocities and experiment with it!
you will have to type all the <div class="x"> stuff into html or copy it piece by piece by inspect element-ing my page though -.-; I will try to make it easier to copy later
You want songs with plot well do I have a band for you... The Mechanisms' tales to be told albums are all comprised of songs that are also stories and many of them are based on mythology/fairy tales and also . Gay space pirates 👍
