This is one of my husband’s favorite short stories. He quotes it from memory. I’m pretty sure he can recite the entire thing from memory.
This is a tremendously impactful short story and every time I see it, it serves as an excellent reboot button for my state of mind.
I see you’ve become acquainted with the Agenda, sir.

Thanks A Lot, Snowflake.
My 16yo niece (lives next door) went to a birthday party on Saturday. Later, we find out that one of the kids there is unvaccinated and tested positive for Covid. Now my niece, who is fully vaccinated, has tested positive. She has to quarantine for a week or 10 days.
Look, you don’t want your spawn to get a shot, fine. But you don’t get to let your kid wander around like Typhoid Mary. You don’t want a shot? Then pay the price and keep yourself and your spawn at home.
I’m vaccinated, but I’m in one of the vulnerable groups. The whole idea of Covid scares the shit out of me. I have to get tested this afternoon.
So thanks a lot, snowflake, for being so willing to play roulette with your life, your kid’s life, and her friends, and mine. That’s how a pandemic works, you selfish shit. I hope you get run over by a bus.
