Hello

@speyeral-feesh-caek

I am gay garbage. I make shit for fun. Yes, I know it's all terrible.

4 trans men have been killed this year

January 1st: Dustin Parker; Location: OK, USA; fatally shot.

February 10th: "Valera". Location: Russia; Murdered by roommates after they learned of his transgender status.

(Unable to find a picture)

March 5th: Yampi Méndez Arocho; Location: Puerto Rico. Fatally shot.

May 27th: Tony Mcdade; location: FL, USA; fatally shot by the police

Every mother with trans children should take Cher as an example.

ok i love her but lets not give brownie points because she called him her son. thats like. minimum requirement for a decent human being.

Ok, you know what? No. Brownie points to Cher. She publicly announced her love and acceptance of her SON and yeah some people would call that “the minimum requirement” of decency, but as someone whose mother gushes about her acceptance in private and sometimes uses gender neutral terms for me (not the male ones I prefer) but aggressively misgenders me in public to keep things from being “awkward”, cher’s public acknowledgement and expression of her love and acceptance for her son is a big deal. Yes this SHOULD BE the bare minimum of parental decency, but right now it’s not and I’m glad to see Chaz and Cher showing the world that this is the way things are supposed to be.

What is up with the idea that we shouldn’t acknowledge when people do something good/nice/etc. because “everyone should be doing that anyway”? It is BY acknowledging the things we see as good that we tell others how we see the world and enforce what we consider proper behavior. There is literally never a time when it doesn’t make sense to acknowledge something positive. And acknowledging something positive does NOT make some sort of blanket statement about the person like they can do no wrong either. We can acknowledge a positive, and also criticize a negative; there is no zero-sum game here.

She’s also been supportive of Chaz since LONG before it was even kind of socially acceptable. People lost their shit over it for a long time.

Now we can look and be all “yeah, that’s the minimum requirement!” But when Chaz began to transition, it was still considered normal and even healthy for the families of trans people to disown them. To “not give them attention.”

Cher is a boss bitch and always will be.

I remember when Chaz began to transition. It was super public and there wasn’t a shred of positivity in the media except from one person. And that was his mom.

Imagine being in the spotlight bc your mom is one of the most famous singers in her lifetime. And then you go through this thing that isn’t publicly accepted yet (no glam magazine covers like we had for Caitlyn Jenner, just harsh news stories) and your mom is out there in the open defending you and loving you in front of the people who have worshipped her since the 70s.

Cher is a model ally and mom. She didn’t hold back to protect her own fame or money which has been rocky in the past bc her husband screwed her over when they performed together. She put her son’s needs first. Cher 👏 understands 👏 unconditional 👏 love 👏

This is worse. Looking at these you can tell they have no significant monetary value. They were confiscated as a fear tactic. Nothing more.

This picture breaks my heart everytime it appears in my dash. It’s a fear tactic, alright but—

The first one in the left corner: It’s a first communion rosary, and it’s not cheap.

The black one in the first line: That’s a widow rosary and it’s old.

The white one in the second line:  is a commemoration rosary. It has a miniature picture in the round part. I haven’t seen that since the 70′s.

In the third line, multicolor one: It’s an Anima mundi, I have only seen those in the hands of Rosary ministery’s old ladies. The oldest ones are from the 80′s after Juan Pablo II came to Mexico for the first time. It’s one of the old ones, I know because the crucifixes are different.  The third one on the fourth line: Red and gold. The style is old, the metal is dark, that’s a 50′s rosary, probably a quinceañera one (or it’s maybe older, from the 40′s when the brides carried red roses with their offerings).

The fifth one on the fourth line: It’s a quinceañera rosary with Ignatius’s tear. The style is old and in my part of Mexico is orphan girls who used it. At least it was when I was young. The third one of the fifth line: the blue one with the anchor. That one I have only seen in Veracruz and it doesn’t look new. The fifth one on the fifth line: That’s a 90′s wedding rosary. Black and white patterns were popular on that date. The fourth one on the last line: That’s a first communion rosary from the 30′s. It’s delicate and most probably silver. The rest wrench my heart too, the humble everyday rosaries with wooden beads and knots. Those are cheap and bear the wear and tear of their user handling. But those  I described are much more.

Those are mother’s rosaries.

Those are not just rosaries. Those are mementos, that’s the proof of their families stories. They are taking from them the only portable things they can carry to feel the connection to their families. It’s not a fear tactic. Call it like by its name. It’s dehumanization.

Just want to remind everyone that the DHS janitor who saved these rosaries and photographed them started his project in the latter years of the Bush administration and finished during the latter days of the Obama administration.

Just in case anyone reading naively believes this atrocity began on November 8 2016

Just saw “boomer” used as a pejorative in response to someone being transphobic, so… This is a reminder that not all trans people are young and that it’s senseless (and, frankly, bigoted) to denigrate people based on when they were born (or… when you think they were born). Being a ‘90′s or 2000′s kid doesn’t make you a better person.

Also, using “boomer” to mean “transphobic” reinforces the idea that trans and nonbinary people are a new phenomenon.

For people who keep calling me a pedophilia for drawing P*rn of carrie white.

Know this.

How can she be a senior in high school but is 16?

To be a senior in high school, you have to be 17 - 18 and I Highly doubt that carrie white is so smart that she went up a grand.

Either there was only 11 grades back in the 70's or she was super smart (which again I highly doubt).

This is really the hill you’re choosing to die on?!

And in order to be a senior 8n high geuss what age you have to be?

(17 - 18+)

I didn't write the book, buddy. I'm just saying no matter how you slice it, she's 16.

Logically, she should be 17 or 18 for being a senior in high school

And you're not making good argument.

And the sources you put, can be edit in the site.

Yeah she should be 17 or 18. I'd love to find it in the actual book, but I don't have my copy anymore. Besides, no matter what anyone says you're going to find a way to excuse it.

CW: slur, language

So I was driving home yesterday. I have a pride flag sticker on the back of my car. I also live in a small town in the southern US.

A lovely woman pulled up beside me, windows rolled down, screaming "Get the fuck outta this town, ya fuckin' queer! *I couldn't hear a few words, but it ended with-* FAGGOT!!" and she drove off.

As far as I know, I did nothing to her but show that I'm gay. A sticker was all it took to set her off like that.

When conservatives say "noBOdY caReS iF uR gAy" they are full of shit. They care a lot.

So I haven't seen anyone else post about this, and I think it's pretty important to get out there.

Despite what most news outlets have reported, the sibling of the shooter killed in the Dayton shooting was actually trans man, Jordan Cofer. I find it personally heartbreaking that the most popular and reputable news outlets looks like this:

When in actuality, the truth is this:

Don't forget his name, and don't let history cover up who he was. His name was Jordan.
