could i get some advice on this ... i am struggling to mimic this hairstyle/texture and im having a hard time fidning any tutorials/references for drawing this texture of hair that are in a lined art style like mine and not like a painterly style. what can i do to make it look more like a tighter curl without just drawing every individual curl

for clarity also 1. this is ok to reblog and give comments or even draw on top of my drawing if u think it will be helpful idc 2. i think i will probably redraw it all completely so i dont need to work off of this as a base its mostly jsut to show how im struggling 3. this is an uncolored commission so unfortunately i will have no help from shading and such. so i am in a difficult spot -__-
