One of my SecUnit OCs: Fynn! He's a good boy most of the time, a terrible prankster all the other times. First time I'm drawing a character in full armor, like ever. It was hard.
My OC Lark, but with wings! No particular type of wings because I couldn't find a reference for, well, an actual lark.
A wedge-tailed green pigeon. So, funny story, I saw this pigeon on the BerdPerHour bot and had to investigate what it was because the photograph posed showed it from the front and as a big ball of fluff.
Of course I had to do some art of it. Fluffy bird.
A black coucal, aka a bird that kind of looks like a dragon when you first see it? I feel I didn't do it enough justice but the pose was still fun.
I drew a loggerhead shrike! So basically, the OC of one of my friends is nicknamed 'shrike' so it stands to reason I draw one at least once! This was done with alcohol markers and prismacolor pencils.
Something I drew last night: A fluffed-up crow! I really need to get more into prismacolors. This was a combination of colored pencils and one acrylic paint pen.
Matcha and Crow cuddling! (Matcha is Kiore's character and the dad in this situation, Crow is his adopted genderless ComfortUnit "child" (not really a child))
A superb starling! When looking through some birds to draw, I saw this one and was stunned because its feathers look like a piece of metal when hit by the sun. Please, please look up a photo of these! They're so cool!
A bearded barbet! This is a mixed-media artwork with water color, acrylic markers and prismacolor pencils. Yeah, I know, a lot of stuff going on here.
